The 2027 Pebble Flow’s new Self-Powered Package adds four custom-built 500 W portable solar panels, cables and a connection junction for about 2 kW of additional solar input when deployed. It is a separate option from Pebble’s 1.1 kW rooftop Integrated Solar; buyers who choose both pay a stated $9,000 for the complete Magic Pack, according to the October 5, 2026 announcement.
What the Self-Powered Package adds
Jackery and Pebble announced the package on October 5, 2026. It includes four custom-built 500 W panels, four matching 3-meter extension cables and a four-in-one solar connection junction. The announcement describes the deployed panels as providing approximately 2 kW of additional solar input. That is an announced package capability, not an independently measured result. Jackery’s announcement says orders for the 2027 Flow, including this option, opened the same day.
Pebble’s order page says the Self-Powered Package accepts portable panels that meet Pebble’s specifications, up to 4 kW total. The custom-built panels in the announcement should not be taken as evidence that any generic third-party panel will work. Check Pebble’s published specifications for compatibility before buying other panels. Pebble’s order page
How it differs from Integrated Solar and Magic Pack
The names refer to different configurations. Integrated Solar is the rooftop option; Self-Powered is the portable-panel package. The Magic Pack combines the two. Pebble says the 2027 Integrated Solar and Self-Powered options include an exterior faceplate port, heavy-duty wiring harness and upgraded MPPT charge controller. Its power page lists rooftop solar separately from the system’s overall maximum input. Pebble’s 2027 power specifications

Prices above are those announced October 5, 2026, not a guarantee of current pricing; confirm them in Pebble’s live configuration before ordering. The announcement describes the portable package as approximately 2 kW of additional solar input, while Pebble lists up to 4 kW maximum solar input overall. Those figures are not interchangeable: the former describes the package’s additional input, and the latter is the stated system maximum. The available specifications do not explain how the maximum is reached in every configuration.
Where solar fits in the Flow’s power system
Pebble lists a 45 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, a 12 kW inverter with AC export, and up to 6.6 kW AC charging input. The Flow also has a 15,000 BTU ducted heat pump. These figures describe the trailer’s listed equipment; they do not establish how long it will run particular appliances or how quickly solar will replenish the battery in a given location.

The panels need to be deployed while the trailer is parked, so their value depends on whether a buyer expects to spend time off-grid with suitable sun and room to set them out. Rooftop solar is integrated into the trailer; the portable package adds panels that can be deployed separately. The announcement claims that deployed panels can generate more energy than a typical day consumes, including air conditioning, but gives no location, season, sunlight or usage profile. Treat that as the company’s claim rather than a demonstrated daily outcome.
Who should consider the solar options
- Consider Self-Powered if portable, deployable solar is important to your parked or off-grid use and you want the announced matching panels and connection hardware.
- Consider Integrated Solar if you want rooftop solar incorporated into the trailer rather than relying only on panels set out at camp.
- Consider Magic Pack if you want both arrangements and accept the announced combined price; the figures do not by themselves guarantee a particular level of energy independence.
- Check panel compatibility first if you plan to supply your own panels. Pebble specifies that panels must meet its requirements, and the available product information does not establish universal third-party compatibility.
Solar is only one part of a towing decision. Pebble lists the Flow at 5,800 lb dry weight and 6,800 lb gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), with sleeping capacity up to four. The dry figure is not the trailer’s fully loaded towing weight; confirm the tow vehicle’s capacity and applicable limits with its manufacturer. Pebble Flow product specifications

What the announcement does—and does not—show
The Jackery-Pebble announcement establishes the package contents, announced pricing and the companies’ description of its additional solar input. It does not provide an independent performance test or enough test conditions to predict daily energy production. For a purchase decision, distinguish those product specifications and company claims from measured output under your own expected weather, season, campsite and power use.
