For the global PC listing, AION 2 requires at least a Ryzen 5 2600 or Core i5-10500, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB of VRAM. NC’s recommended tier is a Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-11700, 16 GB of RAM, and an RTX 2070 with 8 GB. Both tiers call for 100 GB of available storage, DirectX 12, 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, and broadband internet; an SSD is recommended. These are listed configurations, not guaranteed frame rates.

NC identifies AION 2 as a PC game on the global Steam page and lists Unreal Engine 5 as its engine. The engine name does not indicate how well a particular PC will run the game.
Can your PC run AION 2?
Compare your computer’s processor and graphics card with the models in the minimum column, then check that it has at least 8 GB of RAM and 100 GB of free storage. Meeting the minimum listed configuration means your PC matches the publisher’s entry specification; it does not promise smooth play in every scene or a particular frame rate.

- Below minimum: One or more of your CPU, GPU, or RAM is below the listed entry tier. The published requirements do not establish whether a specific below-spec PC will work acceptably.
- At minimum: The global listing associates this tier with Very Low graphics at FHD/1080p. It does not state a target FPS.
- At recommended: The listing associates this tier with Low graphics at FHD/1080p. This is a higher listed configuration, not a guarantee of high settings or a particular frame rate.
The official specifications do not provide 1440p or 4K targets, frame-rate benchmarks, or results for large battles. Performance at those resolutions and in demanding scenes is therefore not established by these requirements.
How much RAM and storage does AION 2 need?
RAM
The global listing specifies 8 GB of RAM at minimum and 16 GB as recommended. Check installed memory in your operating system’s system information; if you plan to upgrade, confirm your PC or motherboard supports the capacity and memory type first.

Storage
Both global tiers require 100 GB of available space, and NC recommends an SSD. The Korean publisher’s page separately says the initial client may require about 70 GB or more; that download or client-size figure is not the same as the 100 GB free-space requirement. Keep the distinctions clear when planning disk space.
Regional requirements can differ
NC’s Korean AION 2 download and requirements page publishes a region-specific PC table. It is similar to the global listing but not identical, so use the table for the market where you will play rather than combining values from both pages.

The Korean page also describes PC and mobile play and directs PC users to install the PURPLE PC launcher, select AION 2 in its Store, and install the game from the AION 2 lobby. That regional platform and installation information is distinct from the global Steam page’s PC-only label.

If your PC falls short, compare its exact CPU and GPU models with the applicable regional table before buying parts. A model name alone may not settle close comparisons, and NC’s published requirements do not include benchmark results for alternative components.

- Check free disk space; the listed requirement is 100 GB available, with an SSD recommended rather than required.
