You can earn free rewards in Age of Apes without codes by completing event quests, collecting Arms Race badges, claiming sign-in rewards, joining free exploration activities, and taking part in clan or gang events. For the best chance of useful rewards, check the live event panel on your server: event schedules and prizes can change, and the official listings do not give a permanent diamond payout for each activity.
What should you check first?

- Recheck the event list and mailbox. Activities rotate, and a reward may not be available until the event ends or results are sent.
“Free” here means that the route does not require a purchase or code. It may still take play time, participation, or in-game resources. Check the event’s own terms rather than assuming every activity is free or that every reward is diamonds.

Arms Race turns activity in the game into points and badges. Complete the quests for the stage that is currently running, collect the badges, and use them to open the daily grand chest.

The stage changes over time. The official App Store version history describes stages for Hero Enhancement, City Development, Troop Training, Tech Research, and Radar Exploration. That means a task that earns points on one stage may not be the right task for another. Check the active stage and its listed quests before deciding what to work on.
Arms Race also ranks players by the points they earn each day. Higher rankings receive more rewards, which are sent through in-game mail the following day, according to the version-history description. If you are participating, check the event’s ranking and then look in your mailbox after the results are distributed. Do not count a ranking prize as an immediate chest reward.
The official description does not publish a fixed number of diamonds for completing a stage, opening the grand chest, or placing at a particular rank. Check the live reward panel for the actual contents on your server; badge, point, and ranking rewards should not be assumed to include a specific quantity of diamonds.

Which other event quests are worth checking?
Look for limited-time operations and festival quests in the event list. The official App Store version history mentions Music Ops, Moonshot Operation, and Operation Pioneer as examples of quest-based operations where completing cards or quests can unlock event rewards and decorations.
These are examples from version history, not a promise that each operation is running now. When one appears in your game, open its details and check which cards or quests count, what the reward is, and when the activity ends. Finish the eligible tasks and use the event screen’s claim option if one is shown. A completed objective and a claimed reward are not always the same thing, so verify that the item has been collected.

Festival tasks can be a useful way to earn rewards while progressing through activities you would otherwise do, but their value depends on the current prize list. If the event offers decorations or other items rather than diamonds, decide whether those rewards are worth your time before focusing on it.
Can sign-in rewards give you free items?
Yes. The official version history describes sign-in rewards, including anniversary sign-ins and an Abyss Sign-In with festival rewards. These are limited-time examples, so availability and prizes depend on the event calendar and your server.
When a sign-in event is active, open its panel and check how it tracks attendance. Claim any available reward there, and review the remaining dates so you know whether later rewards require additional sign-ins. Do not assume that a past anniversary or festival reward is permanently available, or that every sign-in reward contains diamonds.
Regularly checking the event list is more reliable than relying on an old schedule or a post about a previous event. If you return after a break, look at the current sign-in panel rather than assuming missed rewards can be collected retroactively.
How do free exploration activities work?
Exploration activities are another code-free route to event rewards when they are active. The official version history names Mine Hunt, Wildland Expedition, Roaming Adventure, and Interstellar Voyage among the activities that can award goods, decorations, crystals, geodes, dice, or other event rewards.

Open the event list to see whether one is available on your server, then read its rules and reward preview before participating. The activity name alone does not tell you which item it pays, how much time it takes, or whether the reward includes diamonds. Those details can vary with the event, so use the live panel rather than a guide to an earlier run.
Compare the listed reward with the effort required. If you want a particular item, such as a decoration or event currency, prioritize an activity that explicitly lists it. If you are looking specifically for diamonds, do not treat crystals, geodes, dice, or general goods as equivalent unless the game itself shows that they can be exchanged for diamonds.
Do clans and gangs provide rewards?
Group play can open cooperative and competitive opportunities, but simply joining a clan or gang is not a guaranteed diamond payout. The Google Play listing describes clans, gang friendships, PvP wars, and encounters such as Mutant Monkey battles and bosses; it presents these as ways to contribute and play with others, not as a fixed reward schedule.

Where do you claim event and ranking rewards?
Start with the event screen where you completed the task: check whether the reward needs to be claimed from a chest or event panel. For Arms Race rankings, check in-game mail after the daily results are distributed, since the official description says those rewards are sent the next day.
If you cannot find a reward, verify that the event has ended or the relevant results have been issued, then check the event panel and mailbox again. Also confirm that the activity was active on your server and that you completed the specific requirements shown in its rules. A task may award points or badges toward another reward rather than delivering a prize immediately.
