Should I buy Ace Combat 8 or Ace Combat 7?

Is Ace Combat 8 out yet, and where can I play it?

In Ace Combat 8, Co-Op Assault and Co-Op Warfare each use two teams of four players. Limited-time PvP events include 4v4 matches and an eight-player free-for-all. Which platforms support Ace Combat 7?

Ace Combat 8 Deluxe adds cosmetics and a voucher for one season of Premium Ace Pass Plus. The publisher says Deluxe remains available after launch, but it no longer includes digital-preorder early-access bonuses; the advertised three-day early-access period is historical, not a benefit to count on now.
