The practical buying phrase is “184-pin DDR400 PC3200 desktop memory,” but the module still needs to fit within the board’s total 2 GB limit.

Which graphics cards fit the KV8 Pro?
The KV8 Pro provides an AGP slot supporting AGP 8X/4X cards, with the manual specifying 0.8 V and 1.5 V card support. Check the specific card’s AGP generation and voltage before purchase; the presence of an AGP connector alone does not establish compatibility with every AGP card. Can you upgrade the KV8 Pro’s processor?
ABIT’s BIOS 1.6 release, dated July 29, 2004, says it added “Support Sempron CPU.” That establishes support was added in that BIOS release; it does not establish that every Socket 754 Sempron or other processor works on every KV8 Pro revision. The accessible product archive points to a CPU support list, but a complete revision-by-revision compatibility matrix is not established here.
