Chrome on iPhone and iPad documents printing a page through AirPrint, but Google’s iOS instructions do not document a way to save Chrome’s print preview as a PDF. For paper, use Chrome’s Print option. To save a webpage as a PDF, Apple documents a separate route in Safari.
Print a page from Chrome on iPhone or iPad
Chrome’s documented iPhone and iPad print flow uses AirPrint. Before starting, make sure an AirPrint-compatible printer is available and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device, as Apple’s AirPrint instructions require.
- Open Chrome and go to the page, image, or file you want to print.
- Tap Share at the top right.
- Tap View more (the down arrow), then tap Print.
- Choose the print settings you need and tap Print.
These steps follow Google Chrome Help’s iPhone and iPad printing instructions. Select the AirPrint printer and settings in the system print controls.
Save a webpage as a PDF using Safari
If your goal is a PDF file rather than a paper copy, Apple documents this workflow for Safari on iPhone. It is a browser switch, not a confirmed Chrome feature.

Can Chrome on iPhone or iPad save its print preview as a PDF?
Google’s cited iPhone and iPad guide documents Share → View more → Print and AirPrint; it does not describe a Save as PDF option for Chrome’s iOS print flow. That means the cited guide does not establish a Chrome PDF-saving route—it is not proof that no device-specific workaround exists. Do not assume desktop or Android Chrome instructions apply to iPhone or iPad.
