To get the Emberheart Lantern in Project Slayers 2, use a Frozen Heart to summon the Yeti Demon in The White Terror Lair near Butterfly Estate, then defeat it for a chance at the lantern. Equip the lantern and stand beside a lit campfire in Iceveil Valley to charge Cold Immunity; the protection is timed, not permanent.
Where to find the Emberheart Lantern
The Emberheart Lantern is reported as a chance drop from the Yeti Demon in The White Terror Lair, near Butterfly Estate. You need a Frozen Heart to trigger the encounter.
How to unlock the Yeti encounter and get the lantern
- Get a Frozen Heart. Pro Game Guides reports Rare Chests and Sealed Caches as sources, with a 10% chance from each, and lists the Black Marketer as another possible route. These are third-party guide reports, not officially confirmed drop rates or availability details. Pro Game Guides’ Frozen Heart guide.
- Travel to The White Terror Lair. Use the Butterfly Estate shrine as your landmark. Head toward the red bridge, drop into the water, and look for the cave entrance behind the waterfall. - Summon the Yeti. Inside the lair, find the frozen Yeti and interact with it using a Frozen Heart in your inventory. The prompt is described as “Return the heart”; one guide says to hold T to activate it. Pro Game Guides’ Emberheart Lantern guide.
- Defeat the Yeti Demon. The lantern is not guaranteed. Pro Game Guides reports a 25% chance per defeat in its 2026 guide; treat that as an attributed estimate, not an official drop table. You may need to repeat the summon and fight. Pro Game Guides’ drop-rate report.
- Equip the lantern. A guide lists it in the Waist slot and reports bonuses of +0.35 Illumination, +25 Max Health, and +20 Max Stamina. Slayers 2 Guide Wiki’s Emberheart Lantern details.
How to activate and maintain Cold Immunity
Equipping the lantern enables its Cold Immunity mechanic, but does not grant permanent protection by itself. In Iceveil Valley, stand close to a lit campfire and wait for the Cold Immunity meter to charge. The available guides report a maximum charge duration of ten minutes. When the timer runs low, return to a campfire and recharge before continuing through the cold.
Slayers 2 Guide Wiki reproduces the lantern tooltip as: “Its ember holds off Iceveil’s freeze while it burns, then must be rekindled beside a campfire.” The wording matches the practical distinction: the lantern is the unlock, while campfire charging activates and refreshes the timed protection. Plan your Iceveil Valley route
- Before taking a long route through the snow, note the location of a nearby campfire so you can recharge when needed.
- If you still need the lantern, prioritize obtaining a Frozen Heart and reaching the lair; the reported chest, cache, and merchant routes do not establish which is fastest or most consistently available.
