No—not specifically for this game. As of October 4, 2026, the developer says there are currently no plans to add racing-wheel support to Star Wars: Galactic Racer. That means there is no wheel model that can be recommended as officially compatible on the available evidence. If you already want a wheel for other supported racing games, choose it for those games—not on the assumption it will work here.
Does Star Wars: Galactic Racer support a steering wheel?
Secret Mode’s pinned Steam FAQ says: “There are currently no plans to implement wheel support, HOTAS/HOSAS support, full haptics, or resistance.” The statement was posted by a developer account and is the clearest available answer about peripheral compatibility. “Currently” describes the developer’s position in that FAQ; it is not a promise that support will never be added. Read the developer’s Steam FAQ.
Because official wheel support is not planned at the time of that statement, do not treat a particular wheel, adapter, or platform as confirmed compatible. No wheel compatibility tests are established in the cited sources.
What can you use to play?
The FAQ lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. It confirms keyboard-and-mouse play; the documented controller option is relevant across the listed platforms. The FAQ also says controller rumble will be supported across all platforms. That controller feature does not indicate wheel support.

Why a wheel might seem like a natural fit—and why that is not enough
The game is a runs-based racer featuring landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers, with a story-driven solo campaign and competitive multiplayer. Those vehicles may make a wheel sound appealing, but a racing theme does not establish peripheral compatibility. The developer’s explicit FAQ statement should guide a purchase decision, rather than assumptions based on the genre. PlayStation’s game overview describes the vehicles and modes.
How to decide whether to buy a wheel anyway
If you want a wheel for other racing games, evaluate it against those games and your setup. Do not rank or select a wheel on the claim that it works with Galactic Racer.

- Check your platform: Confirm that the wheel supports your PS5, Xbox, or PC setup.
- Check your game library: Verify support in the specific other racing games you expect to play.
- Compare relevant features: For those other games, consider force feedback and pedal features rather than assuming they will be used in this title.
- Check practical fit: Account for mounting space, budget, and the seller’s return policy.
An adapter is not a reliable workaround for the absence of official wheel support: the available sources do not establish that any adapter makes a wheel work with this game.
