There is no objective ranking of PAC’s most memorable matches. A useful shortlist weighs the stakes of a rivalry, the match format, the contrast between opponents, career milestones and the role a bout played in a team story. Those criteria point to several well-documented AEW examples, while a definitive career-wide list would require checking match records beyond the available AEW material.
What makes a PAC match memorable?
“Memorable” is an editorial judgment, so it helps to make the criteria visible rather than present a personal selection as a consensus ranking. For each candidate, ask:
- What was at stake? A decisive match in a series or a championship final has clear story significance.
- Was the format distinctive? An Iron Man match or a multi-team title series gives the bout a structure beyond a standard singles contest.
- Did the opponents create a notable contrast? Different styles or personas can make the match’s dynamic easy to identify.
- Did it mark a career milestone? A first title win, for example, matters beyond the result of one match.
- Was it part of a larger team rivalry? A connected series can be memorable as an arc, even when no single bout tells the whole story.
Applying these criteria produces a useful watchlist, not proof that every fan would choose the same matches.
Documented PAC matches and rivalries to consider
PAC vs. Kenny Omega: the deciding match in their series
On February 26, 2020, PAC and Kenny Omega met on AEW Dynamite in a 30-minute Iron Man match that decided their three-match series. AEW’s event report says the series was tied 1–1 late in the bout; after the match went to sudden-death overtime, Omega won 2–1. The combination of a defined format, a series-deciding stake and a documented finish makes this a strong example of a memorable PAC match.

PAC vs. Orange Cassidy: a sharp contrast in style
PAC faced Orange Cassidy at AEW Revolution on February 29, 2020. AEW’s event report highlights the contrast between PAC’s punishing approach and Cassidy’s deliberately relaxed, distinctive offense, and records PAC winning by submission. This pairing illustrates a different route to memorability: the opponents’ contrasting presentations give the match a recognizable dynamic.
PAC’s first AEW singles title milestone
At Forbidden Door on June 26, 2022, PAC won a four-way tournament final to become the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion. AEW’s championship history records the title’s lineage. AEW later renamed the championship the International Championship; use “All-Atlantic Championship” when referring to PAC’s 2022 win, the name in use at the time.

Death Triangle vs. The Elite: a team rivalry arc
PAC’s team Death Triangle, with Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix, defended its trios titles against The Elite in a best-of-seven series that ran from November 2022 into January 2023. AEW’s September 2026 retrospective identifies the series as a significant storyline. It belongs on a rivalry-focused watchlist because it developed across multiple title matches and involved the teams as well as PAC individually. The retrospective does not provide a match-by-match ledger, so individual dates, stipulations and results should not be inferred from the series summary.
How to build a fair shortlist
Use the evidence available for each match, and separate documented facts from your own judgment. A simple comparison can keep a shortlist consistent:

For a broader career list, identify PAC as Adrian Neville when covering his WWE period; earlier references may also use “Pac.” The documented examples above are strongest for AEW. They do not establish a reliable cross-promotion ranking, so verify dates and results against suitable records before presenting non-AEW matches as definitive highlights.

Use labels such as “a strong example,” “a milestone match” or “one match to consider,” and explain the criterion behind each choice. AEW’s September 30, 2026 tribute preview calls the Omega bout one of the “biggest matches in Dynamite history,” but that is AEW’s characterization, not a named speaker’s quotation or an objective measurement. Likewise, a specialist retrospective that selects ten matches represents that publication’s editorial choices, not a statistical measure of PAC’s legacy.
