First work out whether the fault follows the OPPO A7 Pro 5G, one Wi-Fi network, the SIM or account, or your location. Compare the phone with another device and network before changing settings: that can point you toward the right fix without assuming the handset is at fault.
Identify what is failing
“No signal,” “5G not showing,” “mobile data not loading,” and “Wi-Fi connected but no internet” are different symptoms. Note which one you have, where it happens, and whether it started after a settings or software change. Also check whether calls and text messages work; that helps distinguish a data-only issue from a broader mobile-service problem.
Find out whether the problem is the phone, network, or service
- Wi-Fi: Test another device on the same router, then connect the OPPO to another trusted Wi-Fi network. If multiple devices cannot use one network, investigate that router or its internet service. If the OPPO has trouble on several networks while other devices work, focus on the phone.
- Mobile service: Check whether the fault occurs in more than one location. A problem limited to one area may point to coverage or an outage; ask your carrier to check local service.
- Connection type: If Wi-Fi works but cellular data does not, check the SIM, mobile-data selection, and carrier service. If cellular data works but Wi-Fi does not, focus on the Wi-Fi network and phone’s Wi-Fi connection.
These comparisons are diagnostic checks, not guarantees: more than one part of a connection can fail at once.
Fix Wi-Fi that will not connect or has no internet
- Check the network and password. Make sure the phone is joining the intended Wi-Fi network and that the password is correct.
- Toggle Wi-Fi off and on. Try reconnecting before removing the saved network.
- Forget and rejoin if needed. Do this only if you know the network password. The OPPO A7 Pro 5G’s listed Wi-Fi capability is Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), so a compatible 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network may be relevant; that specification alone does not show that a router is defective. OPPO Sweden lists the phone’s specifications.
- Restart the router if other devices also have trouble. If restarting does not restore internet access across devices, contact your internet service provider or check the router’s connection.
- Restart the phone. If the OPPO still cannot join multiple functioning Wi-Fi networks, continue with handset-side checks or contact OPPO support.
Fix mobile data or 5G that is not working
Check the SIM, data setting, and account
- Confirm that the intended SIM is active and selected for mobile data, especially if the phone has more than one SIM option.
- Make sure mobile data is enabled in the settings shown on your phone.
- Check that the carrier account and plan include active service. OPPO’s support information notes that mobile data requires being within network coverage. See OPPO support information.
- Ask your carrier about outages, local coverage, account status, and SIM provisioning if service is missing or unreliable.
Check network type and access point settings
Search Settings for “SIM,” “mobile network,” “preferred network type,” or “access point names” (APN). Review only the options displayed on your phone. OPPO community guidance discusses preferred network type and resetting APNs on applicable versions, but the available paths are not verified for the CPH2931 running ColorOS 16.0; menu labels and availability can differ. If the APN appears incorrect or mobile data stopped after an account or SIM change, ask your carrier for the settings appropriate to your plan before editing them. Resetting network settings may clear saved Wi-Fi or other network settings; the exact current reset path for this model is not established here.
Understand why 5G may not appear
OPPO’s Sweden specification identifies the OPPO A7 Pro 5G as model CPH2931, running ColorOS 16.0, and lists 5G NR bands n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n12/n20/n26/n28/n38/n40/n41/n48/n66/n77/n78. OPPO also cautions that live-network functions depend on carrier network conditions and service deployment. Supported bands by themselves do not guarantee 5G service: confirm that your carrier supports service for your location, plan, and SIM. Check OPPO’s specification page.

If your Settings offers a preferred network type, compare the available options without assuming one mode is best everywhere. A lower preferred mode may help determine whether the issue is specific to 5G access, but carrier configuration and local availability vary. Contact your carrier to confirm eligibility and coverage before treating a missing 5G indicator as a handset fault.

If the phone does not detect the SIM, or your carrier recommends reseating it, power the phone down and use the appropriate SIM-tray tool carefully. OPPO Taiwan lists a SIM ejector tool among the items supplied with its CPH2931 package; box contents vary by market, so use the supplied tool if available rather than assuming you need to buy one. See OPPO Taiwan’s specifications and package information. Reseating a SIM is not a remedy for a coverage, account, router, or unrelated phone fault.

Restart, reset, or get support
- Restart the phone after checking the relevant Wi-Fi or mobile settings.
- Restart the router when several devices have trouble on that Wi-Fi network.
- Before using a network-settings reset, consider that saved Wi-Fi and other network settings may be cleared. Look for the reset option available in your phone’s Settings; an exact CPH2931 ColorOS 16 path is not established here.
- Contact your carrier for coverage, outage, account, SIM, or 5G eligibility checks. Contact OPPO or local support if the phone continues to fail across networks after those checks. OPPO directs users to local support.
