The company said the cooler targeted thermal loads up to 300W. Cooler Master’s announcement presents this as a design capability; the cited material does not establish that a retail cooler delivered that result in independent testing.
Cooler Master also claimed its composite heat pipes offered nearly double the heat-transfer rate of traditional pipes. The announcement did not specify a comparison baseline or test method, so that figure should be read as the manufacturer’s comparison rather than a verified, general performance advantage.
V8 3DVC specifications disclosed so far
At the time of the announcement, contemporaneous coverage reported two 120 mm Mobius fans and noted that complete specifications had not been published. Tom’s Hardware’s CES 2024 coverage and IT之家’s January 5, 2024 report do not establish a complete retail spec sheet.

Is the V8 3DVC available, and when is its release date?
The cited sources establish the 2024 announcement and planned CES display, but do not establish a V8 3DVC retail launch, a release date or a price. Cooler Master’s current EU store listing for the V8 Ace 3DHP Black is for a related V8 product, not proof that the V8 3DVC went on sale.
V8 3DVC vs. V8 3DHP: the announcements are different
Cooler Master’s January 7, 2025 V-Series announcement described V4, V6, V8 and V10 air coolers using 3D Heat Pipe (3DHP) technology. It specified dual-tower construction for the V8 and V10 and stated up to 340W TDP for those models. Those details belong to the later 3DHP V-Series announcement, not the 2024 V8 3DVC teaser. Cooler Master’s 2025 announcement does not establish that the 2025 V8 3DHP is the same product as the V8 3DVC.

The V8 Ace 3DHP Black store listing identifies support for AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. That compatibility information applies to the listed 3DHP model; it should not be carried over to the V8 3DVC.

There are no independent V8 3DVC test results or confirmed final specifications in the cited sources, so a meaningful performance comparison is not possible. For a current cooler such as the V8 Ace 3DHP, compare independent CPU temperature results under a stated workload and power limit, noise measured under matched conditions, supported sockets, case-height and memory clearance, installation requirements, and price. Do not use the V8 3DHP listing to fill in missing V8 3DVC details.
