No verified $8 offer is established. The closest matching report identified a separate, historical U.S. PlayStation Store sale for Batman: Arkham Collection at $6, and said it ended January 22, 2026. That date has passed, so the report does not show that the collection is available for either price now.
What the $8 headline gets wrong
A January 11, 2026, ComicBook.com article reported that PS4 and PS5 users could buy Batman: Arkham Collection for $6, discounted from a stated $60 price. It described the offer as a 90% discount, or $54 off, and gave January 22, 2026, as the end date. These are figures reported for that historical U.S. promotion, not a current price or a guarantee of pricing in other regions. Read the ComicBook.com report.

Which games are in Batman: Arkham Collection?
The reported collection bundles three Rocksteady-developed Batman games and their DLC:
#1 Best Overall
- Become Gotham City’s ultimate protector across the iconic Batman: Arkham Trilogy.
- Experience Rocksteady Studios’ critically acclaimed gameplay and AAA original storytelling across all 3 games, PLUS all DLC, in one complete package.
- Some features may require an internet connection and an online subscription.
- Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009)
- Batman: Arkham City (2011)
- Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)
Batman: Arkham Origins is not included. The report describes it as a prequel made by WB Games Montreal, rather than a Rocksteady game.
Is the collection upgraded for PS5?
The report says the collection is not a remaster and does not add upgrades intended to make the games feel like modern releases. Its positive view of how well the older games hold up is the article’s opinion, not an independently established performance or quality finding. If modernized visuals or enhancements are important to you, check the exact product listing and edition details before purchasing.
Rank #2
- The story, characters, voice acting, gameplay, and music that made the original a sensation return, remade for modern consoles
- This evolutionary leap breathes new life into every cutscene, and rebuilds every corner of the world
- Incredible new graphics bring the wild growth of the jungles, forests, and swamps to life in exquisite detail
- Characters are rendered in fine detail so that facial wrinkles, pores, & separate eye & iris movements are visible, allowing for rich animations
- Any injuries to his actual body will leave their mark permanently, telling a story of each player's unique journey
Is this the same as the Grand Theft Auto trilogy?
No. Batman: Arkham Collection and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition are different bundles. The official PlayStation Store page for the GTA collection lists Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas; it displayed $59.99 when checked October 4, 2026. That listing is not evidence for a Batman collection discount or the claimed $8 price. View the PlayStation Store GTA trilogy listing.
