Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteStart with Grid and Level for steadier framing, then set Preserve Settings so the controls you choose carry over between camera sessions. Next, match video resolution and frame rate to where your footage will be used and how much storage you have. The best choices depend on your iPhone model, iOS version, lighting, and editing workflow; check the options available on your device.
1. Turn on Grid and Level for more reliable framing
Grid and Level are useful first changes if you want straighter horizons and more consistent compositions. Apple describes them as aids for composing and straightening shots. Find them in Settings > Camera; the exact controls shown can vary by iPhone and software version. Apple’s composition guide explains how they work.
- Grid: Use the guide lines to align subjects and keep vertical or horizontal elements from appearing unintentionally tilted.
- Level: Use the on-screen indicator when you want to check that the camera is level, especially for overhead or straight-on shots.
These guides do not change the image itself. Turn them on if they help your framing; they are not a requirement for every creator.
2. Preserve the controls you want to keep
If you repeatedly reopen Camera only to restore the same mode or adjustment, review Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings. Enable only the options you want retained. Depending on the model and iOS version, the list may include Camera Mode, exposure adjustment, Macro Control, Action mode, or ProRAW and resolution controls.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Preserving settings makes the camera more predictable between launches, but it also means a temporary choice may still be active later. Check the camera’s current mode and settings before an important shot. Apple’s guide to preserving camera settings describes the supported controls.
3. Choose video resolution and frame rate for the final use
Set resolution and frame rate according to the platform or delivery format, the motion you are capturing, and the storage and editing capacity available to you. Apple’s iPhone video recording guide documents model-dependent HD and 4K options and available frame rates. Depending on the iPhone and setting, choices may include 24, 25, 30, 60, or 120 frames per second; not every model offers every combination.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Apple Support notes: “Faster frame rates and higher resolutions result in larger video files.” Choose 4K or a faster frame rate when the extra detail or motion rendering serves the project, rather than assuming the highest option is always preferable.
| What matters for the clip | What to consider |
|---|---|
| Delivery destination | Choose a resolution and frame rate that fit the platform, client, or editing timeline requirements. |
| Motion | Use a higher frame rate when smoother fast motion or slow-motion options are needed, if your model supports them. |
| Storage and editing | Higher resolutions and faster frame rates create larger files, so account for device space, transfer time, and editing capacity. |
| Device support | Confirm the available combinations in Camera settings on your specific iPhone; options vary by model and software version. |
4. Review Auto FPS, HDR Video, and white balance
For video recorded in changing or dim light, check Auto FPS under Settings > Camera > Record Video if that option is available. Apple says iPhone can reduce the frame rate to 24 fps in low light when Auto FPS is enabled. That may help adapt recording to the conditions, but it changes the frame rate; decide whether that behavior suits the motion and delivery requirements of the project. See Apple’s recording options guide.

- Travel Must-Have for People On the Go: A must-have travel accessory for flights, flying, airports, air travel, airplanes, planes, international trips, cruises, and long travel days. Key gadget for your airport haul, travel accessories and must-haves.
HDR Video is a destination-dependent choice: consider whether the screens, platform, and editing workflow you use handle HDR as intended. If consistent color across a video matters, consider enabling Lock White Balance in the recording options where supported. These controls are workflow choices, not universal improvements.
5. Set photo resolution and processing to match your workflow
On supported iPhones, review the default Photo Mode resolution and Resolution Control in Settings > Camera. A higher-resolution capture can be useful when you need additional detail or cropping latitude, but it is not automatically the right default for every shoot. Check the available resolutions on your model and whether your storage and editing workflow can accommodate them. Apple’s advanced camera settings guide covers the model-dependent options.

- Lens Correction: This adjusts front-camera and Ultra Wide photos to produce more natural-looking results. Leave it on if that rendering suits your work; compare the result with your intended look.
6. Use Action mode and ProRes only when the project calls for them
Action mode for moving shots
Action mode is intended for more stabilized video and is worth considering when you are moving with the camera. It is available only on supported iPhone models, so check for the mode on your device before planning a shoot around it.
ProRes for post-production workflows
ProRes offers higher color fidelity and less compression, which can benefit projects involving substantial editing or color work. It also uses more storage, and Apple says it is unavailable in Cinematic, Time-lapse, and Slo-Mo modes. Treat it as a deliberate production format rather than a default setting for everyday clips. See Apple’s ProRes recording guide for supported iPhones and requirements.

Optional: stabilize time-lapse footage
For time-lapse, Apple recommends placing the iPhone on a stable surface or tripod. Its guidance also suggests a tripod for more detailed, brighter low-light time-lapse on iPhone 12 or later. A tripod is an optional aid for that specific use, not a prerequisite for changing camera settings. See Apple’s video recording guide.
