NVIDIA announced Monster Hunter Wilds for GeForce NOW on March 6, 2025, and said the game requires a Performance or Ultimate membership. That announcement is dated: it confirms the game’s addition at the time, not its availability in the live catalog today. Check NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW game catalog before subscribing or troubleshooting access.
What NVIDIA announced about Monster Hunter Wilds
In its March 6, 2025 GeForce NOW Thursday announcement, NVIDIA described Capcom’s game as playable from a GeForce RTX 4080-class gaming rig in the cloud. Streaming means the game runs on NVIDIA’s remote system rather than relying on your computer’s local gaming hardware or storage. NVIDIA said players could skip game downloads and play across supported devices.

NVIDIA characterized the game as a story about monsters and humans attempting to live in harmony in a world of duality. Its description of the play loop centers on tracking and defeating monsters, gathering materials, and crafting weapons and armor. This is NVIDIA’s summary, not a hands-on review.
Which GeForce NOW membership does it require?
NVIDIA specified Performance or Ultimate membership for Monster Hunter Wilds. In that March 2025 announcement, it described six-hour sessions for Performance and eight-hour sessions for Ultimate, and said both tiers could stream the game with DLSS and ray-tracing technologies. These are the terms NVIDIA reported for the announcement; plan limits and features may change. Check NVIDIA’s current membership page for live plan details and pricing, which were not specified in the game announcement.

Hunters can look forward to tracking down monsters with an array of new moves, special abilities, equipment, and more. The action also now flows seamlessly from cutscenes to gameplay, resulting in a new level of immersion.

What devices can you use?
NVIDIA’s announcement named underpowered PCs, Macs, Steam Deck, and VR devices as examples of ways to stream. These examples do not mean every device supports every resolution, frame rate, or feature. Compatibility and requirements depend on the device, operating system or app, browser, and chosen streaming settings. NVIDIA’s current GeForce NOW system requirements list supported device categories and platform-specific details.
Check your internet connection and controller
NVIDIA recommends a wired Ethernet connection or a 5 GHz Wi-Fi router and specifies network latency below 80 ms to an NVIDIA data center. Its current Windows examples include 15 Mbps for HD streaming at up to 60 FPS and 25 Mbps for 1080p at 60 FPS; higher resolutions and frame rates need more bandwidth. Requirements vary by platform, so use the system requirements page for your device rather than treating the Windows figures as universal.

NVIDIA lists Xbox and PlayStation controllers among supported gamepads in several platform sections. A supported gamepad is required to play on TVs. Check the requirements for your specific device for the current supported controller list.

The March 2025 announcement establishes that NVIDIA added the game then, but it does not confirm present-day availability. NVIDIA’s October 1, 2026 October games roundup does not name Monster Hunter Wilds among its featured weekly titles or the games it says are coming throughout October. A weekly roundup is not a complete catalog, so its omission alone does not establish that the game was removed. Check the live catalog for the current listing.
