Creality advertises a maximum speed of 600 mm/s but separately describes 300 mm/s as its typical printing speed. Those are manufacturer figures, not independent performance-test results.
What the Creality K1C is
The K1C uses fused filament fabrication (FDM), also called fused filament manufacturing (FFF), with a CoreXY motion system and direct-drive extrusion. It is an enclosed desktop printer aimed at users who want to print a range of materials, including carbon-fiber-filled filaments. Creality lists a standard 0.4 mm nozzle, maximum nozzle temperature of 300°C, and maximum bed temperature of 100°C. Creality’s product specifications and its official support materials describe these features.
Creality K1C specifications
| Specification | Creality-listed value |
|---|---|
| Build volume | 220 × 220 × 250 mm, according to Creality’s product page and manual |
| Printer dimensions | 355 × 355 × 482 mm, according to Creality’s product page |
| Net weight | 12.4 kg, according to Creality’s product page and manual |
| Printing process and motion system | FDM/FFF; CoreXY |
| Extruder and nozzle | Direct drive; standard 0.4 mm nozzle with hardened-steel tip |
| Maximum nozzle temperature | 300°C |
| Maximum bed temperature | 100°C |
These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Confirm the exact model and current documentation before purchasing replacement parts or relying on a specification for a particular material.
How large a model can the K1C print?
Creality gives the K1C a maximum printable envelope of 220 × 220 × 250 mm. A model that exceeds any of those dimensions will need to be resized, split into printable sections, or made on a larger printer. The envelope describes the maximum available space; a particular design may need extra clearance for supports, orientation, or fit tolerances.

- 【Quiet Operation with Efficient Filtration】K1C features an effective air purification system using activated carbon to remove odors and particles. Switch to silent mode for reduced noise (≤45dB) during operation without disrupting work or rest.
How fast does it print?
Creality lists 600 mm/s as the K1C’s maximum printing speed and 20,000 mm/s² as its maximum acceleration. Its product page also says, “The typical printing speed is 300mm/s.” The 600 mm/s figure is an advertised maximum, while 300 mm/s is Creality’s stated typical speed; neither should be treated as a guarantee for every model, filament, or print profile. Creality’s speed information also includes sample model timings attributed to Creality Lab, not independent benchmark results.
Which filaments can it use?
Creality lists PLA, TPU, PETG, PET, ABS, ASA, PA, and PC, plus carbon-fiber-filled variants including PLA-CF, PA-CF, and PET-CF. The hardened-steel nozzle tip is intended to resist wear when printing abrasive filled filaments. Compatibility is not a blanket promise that every brand or formulation will print successfully: check the filament maker’s temperature guidance and a suitable K1C profile before use. Creality’s support information and material information are useful starting points.

- Multicolor 3D Printing: 4 × CFS for up to 16 colors. By hooking up as many as four CFS units together, you are able to print in the splendor of 16 colors. Saves the need for extra painting afterward. Also, K2 offers a build volume of 260 × 260 × 260 mm, able to cover the majority of user scenarios. (* K2 Combo includes K2 and one CFS unit)
- Ultra Quiet Printing: Silent Mode for a quieter printing experience. Annoyed by the buzzing noise? Not K2. By adopting step-servo motors and dynamically balanced fans. It is no louder than someone typing on a laptop PC
- Out-of-the-Box Experience: Pre-assembled for plug and play. You can use K2 right after unpacking and screen installation. Unlocks a wider selection of materials, including PLA/PETG/ABS/PLA-CF/PET
- Smart Auto Leveling & AI Camera: Faster leveling of only the target print area. The leveling sensor only probes and levels the bed area relevant to the desired print. Much faster and more precise. Close watch around the clock, Watch over spaghetti failure, idling, and so on in real-time
- Superior Print Quality: Sturdy frame and precise step-servo motor system. K2 uses 3 step-servo motors, both in the extruder and on the X/Y axis. They can adjust torque dynamically in less than a millisecond, taking the speed, extrusion consistency, print accuracy and noise control to the next level
What does the camera and connectivity provide?
The built-in AI camera supports print monitoring and time-lapse. Creality says active alerts and remote monitoring require a connection to Creality Print or the Creality Cloud app, so these features depend on using the relevant software or cloud service rather than the camera alone. The support center and manual list USB flash drive, LAN, and Creality Cloud printing. Software options listed by Creality include Creality Print, PrusaSlicer, Ultimaker Cura, and Simplify3D; check current compatibility and setup guidance before choosing a workflow.
What the published claims do—and do not—establish
Creality reports “1000h + clog-free extrusion” as a Creality Lab claim on the K1C product page. That is a manufacturer-reported result, not independently verified long-term reliability evidence. Likewise, the available official materials do not establish independent K1C results for print quality at speed, durability, noise, emissions, or ease of use. Treat these as open questions rather than proven strengths or weaknesses.

Firmware and safety
Firmware releases and compatibility guidance can change. Creality’s support result reviewed for this article listed firmware V1.1.0.27 dated March 11, 2026; check the K1C support page for the latest release and confirm it applies to your machine before updating. Creality’s product page warns: “Please make sure the nozzle has cooled down before getting your hand on it.”
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who should consider the K1C?
The K1C is most relevant to someone whose projects fit within its 220 × 220 × 250 mm build volume and who values an enclosure, direct-drive extrusion, a camera, or the option to print specified carbon-fiber-filled filaments. Compare it with other printers using typical rather than headline speed, actual build volume, material and nozzle compatibility, monitoring requirements, and the current regional price and warranty. Price and warranty terms are not established here and should be checked with the seller for your region.
