If you mean Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Series Iron Man Mark 85 Premium Electronic Helmet (SKU F90165L00), Hasbro’s instructions do not describe a detachable faceplate. They list dimmable LED eyes, adjustable padding and two AA alkaline batteries, which are not included. The detachable magnetized faceplate belongs to a different, earlier Hasbro helmet: model B7435.
Identify the Mark 85 helmet
Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Series Iron Man Mark 85 Premium Electronic Helmet is a 1:1 role-play helmet inspired by the version in Avengers: Endgame. Hasbro describes it as “this high-quality reproduction of Iron Man’s Mark 85 helmet as it appears in the epic conclusion to the Infinity Saga.” The manufacturer identifies the product as SKU F90165L00 on its Hasbro Pulse product page.
The word “faceplate” can cause confusion because Hasbro has also made an earlier electronic Iron Man helmet with a detachable faceplate. Check the model before relying on a listing’s photos or feature descriptions.

What to check before buying
- Confirm the model: look for Mark 85 or SKU F90165L00 for the Endgame-inspired helmet; B7435 identifies the earlier helmet with the magnetized faceplate.
- Check the listing’s exact features: a detachable faceplate and sound effects are documented for B7435, not in Hasbro’s Mark 85 product information.
- Buy the correct batteries: the Mark 85 needs two AA alkaline batteries, not included. Do not use the earlier helmet’s three-AAA requirement for this model.
- Verify stock and price: Hasbro Pulse listed the Mark 85 at $99.99 and showed it sold out on October 4, 2026. That is a dated listing snapshot, not a guarantee of present availability or price. Check the seller, model number and current terms before ordering.
Distinguish the helmet from other Mark 85 products
Not every product called an Iron Man Mk85 is a wearable helmet. For example, Tamashii Nations lists a separate S.H.Figuarts Iron Man Mk85; it is a figure, not Hasbro’s 1:1 electronic role-play helmet.
