If you can’t find an appointment in Poland’s central e-registration system (centralna e-rejestracja, or CeR), first broaden your search preferences. If no suitable appointment appears in the next 40 days, join the waiting room; you can also ask a participating clinic to search or register you. If you are trying to rebook after cancelling, check whether your referral still shows as “registered.”
1. Broaden your appointment search
CeR matches available appointments against the preferences you enter. Loosen restrictions on location, date, and time to see whether a suitable slot becomes available. Each additional restriction can reduce the appointments offered and lengthen the wait.
If you need a particular doctor or clinic, state that preference explicitly. A narrower search may take longer, so decide which requirements are essential and which you can relax.
2. Join the waiting room if the next 40 days do not work
According to Centrum e-Zdrowia’s patient guidance, CeR displays appointments up to 40 days ahead. If you cannot find a suitable appointment within that window, you can join the waiting room. It monitors for an opening that matches your requirements and may book it automatically when your place in the queue is reached. A clinic can also add you to the waiting room.

The waiting room is a queue, not a confirmed appointment. Its projected date can change as facilities contribute schedules and the queue changes; patients with an “urgent” referral category can also affect the estimate. Joining does not guarantee a particular appointment date, clinic, doctor, or time.
3. Ask a clinic to search or register you
You do not have to rely only on the online search. You can book through the IKP patient portal or the mojeIKP app, or contact a participating clinic by phone or in person and ask it to look for an appointment or register you. Clinics can use CeR on a patient’s behalf. If you do not use the internet, you can continue contacting your clinic as before.

4. Check your referral if you are rebooking after a cancellation
After a cancelled appointment, a clinic may not have marked the visit as not completed. If so, the referral can remain marked “registered” and may not be available for a new booking. Check the referrals section in IKP or mojeIKP. If the referral still says “registered,” contact the clinic and ask it to correct the record.

CeR is not a guarantee that every clinic, service, or appointment type will appear in a search. Official guidance describes cardiology and screening services, including mammography and HPV HR testing, and the rollout has been phased. Facility obligations for the initial service areas took effect on 1 July 2026, following a period for facilities to connect and prepare schedules. Those requirements do not establish that every appointment is searchable or that a missing CeR result means no appointment is available through another route.
