Which Regista Realm candidates are worth comparing?
Destructoid’s October 3, 2026 guide names these candidates: Andrey Santos, Lavia, Barco, Jobe Bellingham, Joelinton, Marc Bernal, Carlos Baleba, Charles TOTW, Alvero, Miles Lewis-Skelly, Renato Sanches, Bouaddi, and Ethan Mbappe. Use the names as a starting point, not proof that every listed card is eligible or that one is best. Different versions of a player can have different positions, ratings, pace, and PlayStyles. How to choose between the two final upgrades
The reported Evolution has three levels. Its first level adds overall rating, balance, sprint speed, composure, and a skill move. Level two improves passing-related attributes, free kicks, vision, composure, and weak foot. The final level offers two different directions, so choose for your midfield’s needs rather than assuming one branch is universally stronger. These upgrade details come from Destructoid’s report and should be checked against the live Evolution screen.

The role descriptions are practical interpretations of the reported upgrade attributes, not tested outcome claims. Compare the final preview in game with the job you need the player to do and the other midfielders in your squad.
Check the exact card before committing
Destructoid reports that Regista Realm accepts CDM or CM cards with no more than 80 overall, 83 pace, and 7 PlayStyles. It reports ST, CAM, and CB as excluded positions. These are third-party reported limits, not an official EA requirements page; if the live Evolution screen differs, use the in-game requirements. Card eligibility can vary by version, so check the exact item rather than relying on a player’s name alone.

- Open the Regista Realm Evolution in FC 27 and read the live eligibility requirements.
- Select the exact card version you are considering. Confirm its position, overall, pace, and PlayStyle count against those requirements.
- Review the final card preview for both the attributes and the PlayStyle added by the branch you intend to choose.
- Compare that preview with your squad’s midfield roles before starting the Evolution.
What completion requires, according to the current guide
Destructoid reports two matches for each Evolution level. It says objectives can be completed using the active Evolution player in Squad Battles on at least Semi-Pro difficulty, or in Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Live Events. Objective wording can change, so check the active in-game requirements before planning matches.
