Brave’s Android help documents controls for website permissions, but the Brave materials reviewed do not document an Android setting for controlling browser-extension permissions. If you meant a site’s camera, location, or other permission, use Brave → Settings → Site settings. If you mean an extension’s access to websites, the available Brave instructions are for desktop, not Android.
First, identify which permission you mean
These are different controls: a website permission determines what a site can access or show in Brave, while an extension’s site access determines where an extension can operate.

Change a website’s permission on Android
- Open Brave on your Android device.
- Tap Settings → Site settings.
- Select the permission you want to review or change, such as camera or location.
- To inspect permissions granted to individual sites, open All sites.
These steps manage website permissions; they do not change an extension’s access to websites. The path is documented in Brave’s Android site-permissions help article, dated April 14, 2025.
What if you mean an extension’s access to websites?
Brave’s published extension instructions describe adding and managing extensions without establishing an Android-specific workflow. A Brave Community staff reply gives desktop directions through Extensions → Details → Site access; those labels and steps should not be treated as Android instructions. So, if you are looking for an Android extension-permission switch or extension manager, the available Brave documentation does not show where to find one. A Brave browser-project issue requesting Android extension support was still open in September 2026, but a feature request is not an official product-support statement. It does not establish behavior for every Brave version or experimental build. View the Android extension-support issue.
Why desktop instructions do not answer the Android question
Brave’s extension help article describes installation and management through desktop-oriented instructions, including the Chrome Web Store. The existence of those desktop steps does not establish that the same menus, installation route, or site-access controls are available in Brave for Android.

Earlier Android add-on requests provide historical context, not a current Android control path: Brave issue #46184 was closed as not planned in May 2025. Neither a request nor its status substitutes for current Android product documentation.
