Chipotle lists two ways to check a gift-card balance: call 1-877-925-4878 or ask at any U.S. Chipotle restaurant. Its gift-card page lists both e-gift and physical cards, but does not show an online balance-check form. Chipotle’s official gift-card page gives the phone and in-store options.
Check your balance by phone
- Call 1-877-925-4878.
- Follow the prompts to hear gift-card balance information. Chipotle publishes the number but does not specify a menu sequence.
Check your balance at a restaurant
Ask at any U.S. Chipotle restaurant to check the card’s remaining value. Chipotle confirms this option but does not specify what information or card details staff may need.

Use Chipotle’s Contact Us page and choose the gift-card support path. The page includes gift-card questions, but does not state a response time or provide a specific balance-troubleshooting procedure.
Does a Chipotle gift card expire?
Chipotle’s SEC filing says its gift cards have no expiration dates and that the company does not deduct non-usage fees from outstanding balances. This describes Chipotle’s disclosed policy; it is not a statement about every jurisdiction’s law. Chipotle’s 2023 annual filing.

Can you use a gift card with Chipotle Rewards?
Chipotle Rewards terms say qualifying purchases can be paid for with a valid Chipotle gift card. Buying, activating, or reloading a gift card does not itself earn Rewards points. See Chipotle Rewards terms.
