To schedule Do Not Disturb on a Samsung Galaxy phone, open Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb > Add schedule, choose a name, days and times, save, and turn on the switch beside the schedule. Menu labels vary by model, software version and carrier; if you do not see these options, search Settings for “Do not disturb.”
Set up a recurring Do Not Disturb schedule

Open Settings, tap Notifications, then tap Do Not Disturb.

Tap Add schedule. Depending on your phone’s interface, you may instead see Turn on as scheduled; open it and tap Add (+).

Enter a name for the schedule, select the days it should repeat, and choose its start and end times. Save the schedule.

Check that the switch beside the saved schedule is on. If it is off, the schedule is saved but will not activate automatically. You can add other schedules for different quiet periods or turn a schedule off temporarily with its switch.
Use Quick settings to reach the same controls
If you prefer, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to open Quick settings, then touch and hold the Do Not Disturb icon. This opens the Do Not Disturb controls; find the scheduled option and add a schedule there. If the icon or menu labels are different, use Settings search for “Do not disturb.”

Choose what can still reach you
Before relying on the schedule, review the exception settings under Allowed during Do not disturb or a similarly named section. The available controls can include calls and messages, app notifications, alarms and sounds. Exact labels and options depend on the phone’s software and region.
Allow selected calls or repeat callers
If particular people must be able to reach you, adjust the call exceptions and select the callers you want to allow. Samsung’s US call-settings guide also documents a Repeat callers option, which can allow a caller through when they call again within the configured conditions. Allow messages, apps, alarms and sounds
Review message and app exceptions separately from call exceptions. If you need an alarm to sound during quiet hours, check the alarms and sounds controls rather than assuming the schedule permits it. Samsung describes these exception categories in its guide to sounds, vibrations and notifications.
Hide visual notifications if needed
Do Not Disturb can also control whether notifications appear visually, not just whether they make a sound. Review Hide notifications if your goal is to keep alerts off the screen. Samsung notes that critical phone activity or status notifications are not hidden by this control. See Samsung’s Do Not Disturb guide for its description of the feature.

If the menu or schedule option is missing

Search Settings for Do not disturb to locate the setting when the menu path differs.

Look for Turn on as scheduled and then Add (+) if Add schedule is not visible.

After saving, return to the schedule list and confirm its adjacent switch is on.

Expect some variation by Galaxy model, software version and wireless carrier; Samsung’s documented labels and layout are not universal across every device.
Samsung confirms that Do Not Disturb can “turn on or off automatically at scheduled times” in its Galaxy Do Not Disturb support article.
