Start at the main menu, choose the mode, open its Locker Codes option, and enter the code with every hyphen. Menu names can vary by game version: in MyTEAM, look for either MyTEAM Community Hub or Market.
How to redeem an NBA 2K locker code
- Open a mode: From the main menu, select MyTEAM or MyCAREER.
- Find Locker Codes in MyTEAM: Open MyTEAM Community Hub, then choose Locker Codes. Some versions or related 2K instructions show the Market tab instead; use the option displayed in your game.
- Find Locker Codes in MyCAREER: Enter the Neighborhood or City, open Options/Quit, then select Locker Codes.
- Enter the code: Type it exactly as shown, including all hyphens, and submit it.
These are the routes in 2K Support’s general locker-code guide. The guide was published June 4, 2025, and updated July 1, 2025; menu labels may differ across versions.

How to avoid entry errors
- Keep every hyphen in place.
- Check characters that are easy to confuse, especially 0 and O, or 1, L, and i.
- 2K says a code can be redeemed only once per console. If you have already redeemed it on that console, entering it again will not provide another reward.
Why a locker code may not work
Codes do not all have the same availability. 2K identifies three types: unlimited codes, time-limited codes, and volume-limited codes. A time-limited code can expire, while a volume-limited one can stop working after its redemption cap is reached. 2K says it cannot assist with claims once a time or volume limit has taken effect.
Check the code’s source and any stated deadline or cap. The official redemption guide explains how to enter codes but does not provide a live NBA 2K26 code inventory, so it does not establish which codes are valid on October 4, 2026. Do not assume a code is active based on an old post or list; check the current official announcement or try it in the game.

Network problems can also matter. According to 2K, a connection timeout during redemption may consume a code without adding content, and support generally cannot compensate for an unsuccessful redemption. If that happens, first check the game and reward inventory before trying the code again.
The code worked, but where is the reward?
- Restart the game and make sure it is up to date.
- Check the relevant mode’s inventory for the reward.
- If the reward is a pack, locate it and open it; redeeming a pack code may add a pack rather than immediately grant its contents.
Most locker codes include a random element, 2K says, so a particular item or pack is not guaranteed unless the code explicitly promises it.

Other official ways to receive locker codes
NBA ID and 2K Account linking
2K describes an account-linking offer that provides a code for 10 games’ worth of MyCAREER Skill Boosts. The code is available in the NBA ID Member Hub under Benefits. 2K says linking is available regardless of platform, but this reward belongs to the offer described by 2K; it should not be treated as a standing benefit guaranteed to every player. Twitch Drops
For an eligible Twitch Drops promotion, claim the reward and check Twitch inventory if its code has not arrived. 2K says a claimed code may take up to 24 hours to appear. Once you have the code, redeem it through MyCAREER or MyTEAM using the steps above. Promotions and eligibility vary; see 2K’s Twitch Drops instructions.
