You can play the same audio on multiple speakers, but ordinary Bluetooth pairing does not make every speaker play in sync. The right method depends on your phone and the exact speaker models: Samsung Galaxy Dual Audio can send Bluetooth audio to two devices; compatible JBL speakers can link through PartyBoost; and AirPlay 2 or other supported Wi-Fi systems are better suited to multi-room playback. Check compatibility before trying to group speakers.
How do I play music on two Bluetooth speakers at once?
First identify your phone and each speaker’s model and generation. Then choose a supported route:
- Supported Samsung Galaxy phone and two Bluetooth speakers: try Dual Audio.
- Compatible JBL portable speakers: use PartyBoost.
- iPhone or multi-room listening: use AirPlay 2 with compatible networked speakers, or set up a supported Wi-Fi speaker group.
- Newer LE Audio equipment: check that both the source and receivers explicitly support LE Audio or Auracast.
These are different connection systems, not universal ways to turn any Bluetooth speakers into a synchronized group. The official instructions reviewed do not establish a comparable latency or sound-quality ranking, so choose based on compatibility and intended use rather than a promise of perfect synchronization.
Can I connect two Bluetooth speakers to my phone?
Samsung Galaxy: use Dual Audio
Samsung’s US instructions describe pairing two audio devices with a supported Galaxy phone, then opening the Quick panel’s Media panel and selecting both outputs. Samsung says the feature is available on One UI 2 and later, and its US page specifies a two-device limit: connecting a third Bluetooth device disconnects one of the paired devices. Samsung’s UK support information limits availability to certain devices with Bluetooth 5.0 and notes that menus can vary by model and software. This is a Samsung-specific feature, not a capability to assume on every Android phone. See Samsung’s Dual Audio instructions.

JBL portable speakers: link compatible models with PartyBoost
JBL’s PartyBoost setup connects the phone to one speaker over Bluetooth, then uses the JBL Portable app and PartyBoost controls to link compatible speakers. Compatibility depends on model and generation; same-brand alone is not enough. JBL says Stereo mode requires two speakers of the same model. For example, a Flip 5 and Flip 6 cannot form a stereo pair, though JBL’s instructions say Party mode is available for that example. JBL also says Connect and Connect+ models cannot pair with one another or with PartyBoost models. Check the exact model against JBL’s PartyBoost setup instructions before buying another speaker or attempting a group.
How can I play the same music in multiple rooms?
AirPlay 2: choose multiple speakers on the same Wi-Fi
Apple’s supported route is AirPlay 2, not generic Bluetooth linking. An iPhone can play to multiple AirPlay 2-enabled devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network; select the destinations in Control Center or the playback destination picker. This requires compatible speakers or receivers and network access. Apple also notes that Bluetooth playback returns to iPhone if the Bluetooth destination moves out of range. Chromecast, AirPlay, or Alexa groups: follow the speaker system’s setup
Wi-Fi multi-room grouping depends on the compatible speakers and platform. The JBL Authentics 300 owner’s manual documents playback groups using compatible Chromecast-enabled, AirPlay, or Alexa speakers. For Chromecast grouping, it calls for speakers on the same home network, grouped in Google Home and using the same Google login account. For Alexa multi-room, it calls for devices grouped on the same home network and using the same Alexa account.
That JBL manual says that, depending on local network bandwidth, its setup can stream to up to six Chromecast-enabled speakers. This is a product-manual limit for the described setup, not a universal limit for all Chromecast configurations. Consult the JBL Authentics 300 Owner’s Manual and the instructions for your own speakers.

Does LE Audio or Auracast work with Bluetooth speakers?
Possibly, but verify support on both ends. Google’s Android Help describes audio sharing among Bluetooth LE Audio headphones and hearing aids, joining LE Audio broadcasts, and starting an Auracast broadcast on a Samsung LE Audio device. Its stated requirements are an Android device that supports LE Audio and LE Audio accessories. Those instructions do not establish that every Bluetooth speaker can receive a broadcast. Check the source device and each receiver for explicit LE Audio or Auracast support before relying on this route. See Google’s Android audio-sharing help.

What to check before setting up a speaker group
- Record the phone’s exact model and software version, then confirm the feature is supported for that device.
- Check each speaker’s full model name and generation. JBL pairing features are not interchangeable across generations.
- Decide whether you need two nearby Bluetooth outputs or speakers in several rooms; the latter commonly uses Wi-Fi grouping.
- For Wi-Fi groups, confirm the speakers use the required network and platform account, then follow that product’s grouping instructions.
- For LE Audio or Auracast, verify support on the source and every receiving device instead of relying on a Bluetooth label alone.
