G-SHOCK models do not all use the same app or button sequence. Find the module number on the case back, then open its CASIO operation guide and follow the phone-connection instructions.
Before pairing, identify your G-SHOCK module
The module number determines which app and watch controls to use. It is printed on the back of the watch. Look it up in the matching CASIO operation guide and find the section about connecting with a phone. Do not rely on instructions for a different module, even if both watches are G-SHOCKs.

These are examples from the manuals cited here, not a complete model-to-app directory. Check CASIO’s phone compatibility information for support details; compatibility is not guaranteed for every watch and phone combination.
Pair a G-SHOCK: Module 3464 example
The following sequence is specific to Module 3464. If your module is different, follow its own operation guide instead.

- Install the CASIO WATCHES app on your phone and enable Bluetooth.
- Put the watch in Timekeeping Mode and keep the phone within one meter of it during setup.
- In the app, open the My Watch tab, tap the add control, and follow the registration prompts.
- On the watch, hold D for at least two seconds. Release it when the Bluetooth mark flashes.
- Wait for the Bluetooth mark to stop flashing, which the guide identifies as confirmation that the connection is established.
If pairing does not complete, the Module 3464 guide says to repeat the procedure from the beginning.
Check phone settings and app permissions
- Install the app specified in the manual for your module. CASIO guides cited here name CASIO WATCHES, G-SHOCK MOVE, and G-SHOCK Connected.
- Turn on Bluetooth on the phone. For Module 3567, CASIO also instructs iPhone users to allow Bluetooth access for CASIO WATCHES. The permission label and its location can vary with phone software.
- Confirm that your phone and operating system are supported using CASIO’s compatibility information and the watch’s guide.
- Some CASIO troubleshooting guidance mentions changing a BT Smart setting on certain phones. Treat this as a device-specific check, not a setting every user should change.
“I can’t pair the watch with a phone”
Work through these checks in order, using the button and mode instructions for your exact module.

- Verify phone compatibility, install the correct CASIO app, enable Bluetooth, and allow any Bluetooth permission the phone requests for that app.
- Open the app and initiate the connection from the watch using the control specified in its manual. For Module 3567 reconnection, CASIO specifies opening CASIO WATCHES and holding C for at least three seconds; this is not a universal G-SHOCK command.
- Check for model-specific connection blockers. On Module 3567, an active stopwatch measurement or timer operation prevents connection, and the manual says phone Airplane Mode also prevents it.
- If the connection still fails, clear saved pairing information as instructed by the app, phone, and watch guide, then pair again. The deletion steps depend on the module and phone.
Clear pairing data on Module 5594
CASIO’s Module 5594 guide gives a watch-side clearing sequence: enter Timekeeping Mode, open the setting display, make the seconds flash, then hold C until “PAIR CLR” stops flashing. This sequence is for Module 5594 only; do not apply it to another G-SHOCK without checking its manual.

Pairing and reconnecting are not always the same operation. If the watch was paired previously, start with the app and the module’s reconnection instructions rather than repeating a button sequence from another model. Then check Bluetooth access, phone support, and any activity or phone mode that the module’s guide identifies as a blocker. If you remove an old pairing, clear it on the relevant devices as their instructions specify before registering the watch again.

For a setup that remains unsuccessful, consult the troubleshooting section of the operation guide for your module. App names, permission labels, compatibility details, and phone menus can change; the module-specific CASIO guide and current compatibility information are the appropriate references.
