How to open, edit, and convert a PSD in Photopea

- Inspect the design and make any needed edits. For a file where layers, fonts, effects, or exact appearance are important, check the result carefully rather than assuming every feature will transfer unchanged.
- To preserve a working document, choose File > Save as PSD. Photopea says this saves the document structure.
- To create a copy for sharing, choose File > Export As and select the destination format. Photopea lists JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, and other export options.
- Open the exported copy in its destination or intended app and check it before replacing or discarding the original PSD.
Choose PNG, JPEG, or PSD based on the handoff

When should you use Photoshop instead?
Choose Photoshop when the document depends on Photoshop-specific features and fidelity is critical.
