To pair a Samsung Level Box Mini, hold the Bluetooth button on the back of the speaker for about three seconds, then select it in your phone, tablet, or computer’s Bluetooth settings. The speaker’s model number is EO-SG900; NFC pairing is also an option if your phone supports NFC.
Pair the Level Box Mini using Bluetooth
- Turn on the speaker. Check that it has enough charge to remain powered on while you pair it.
- Enter pairing mode. Hold the Bluetooth button on the back of the speaker for about three seconds. Samsung gives this instruction for the Level Box/Box Mini in its Samsung Level app listing.
- Open Bluetooth settings on your host device. On your phone, tablet, or computer, open its Bluetooth settings and scan for available devices if needed. Menu names vary by device and operating system.
- Select the speaker. Tap or click the Level Box Mini or Samsung speaker entry when it appears, then follow any on-screen prompt. Samsung’s EO-SG900 support page links to the model’s user manual for further product details.
Pair using NFC instead
If your smartphone has NFC, Samsung’s product announcement says you can bring it near the speaker to pair. This is an optional shortcut; it is not needed for Bluetooth-settings pairing. NFC availability and behavior depend on the phone. Samsung described this option when it announced the product on 19 August 2014: Samsung’s Level Box Mini announcement.
If the speaker does not appear
- Hold the rear Bluetooth button for about three seconds again to re-enter pairing mode, then scan for available Bluetooth devices once more.
- Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on the host device and that you are looking at its available-device list.
- If you cannot confirm that the speaker is EO-SG900, check the model label or the Samsung support page before following product-specific instructions. The larger Level Box is a different product.
The Samsung sources cited here establish the pairing-mode button and NFC option, but not a universal reset sequence or a specific LED pattern for this model. Do not rely on instructions for the larger Level Box as though they were verified for the Mini.
Identify the model and set expectations
Samsung identifies the Level Box Mini as model EO-SG900. Its UK support page lists an English manual named EO-SG900_UM_E_Rev.1.4_160622_Screen.pdf; the listing gives version 1.3 and a modification date of 27 June 2016.

Samsung announced the speaker in 2014. Its launch announcement listed Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC, a 55 mm stereo speaker, a 1,600 mAh battery, and dimensions of 156 × 66 × 50 mm at 392 g. These are manufacturer launch specifications, not measurements of a current unit. Samsung also claimed up to 25 hours of music playback, 30 hours of talk time, and 1,000 hours of standby; those figures do not establish the battery condition or runtime of a used speaker.
The launch announcement also described compatibility with the Samsung Level app and features including volume control, text-to-speech, S Voice, and SoundAlive. That historical description is not a guarantee that every feature or app version remains available for every phone today.
