In Brave for Android, open the three-dot menu and go to Appearance, then toggle Address bar. You can also move it by long-pressing the address bar. Brave says the feature was available starting in version 1.82.
Move the address bar using Brave’s settings
- Open Brave on your Android device.
- Tap the three-dot main menu.
- Tap Appearance.
- Toggle Address bar to move the bar to the bottom. Brave documents this route in its Android bottom address bar instructions.
Use the long-press shortcut
Alternatively, long-press the address bar to move it. Brave lists this as another way to change its position: Bottom address bar.
Why the iPhone instructions are different
These steps are for Android. Brave’s iOS help page puts the choice under Menu > All Settings > Tabs, where users select Top Bar or Bottom Bar. See Brave’s iOS tab settings instructions if you’re using an iPhone or iPad.
