If your Secret Lair order is delayed, check Wizards of the Coast’s notice for that drop and choose whether to wait, ask Support to change the affected item, or cancel and request a refund. If you never received an order confirmation, ask Customer Support to verify whether checkout created an order. A cart or queue does not reserve a product; Wizards says checkout must be completed.
First, confirm whether the order exists
- Search the checkout email account. Look in your inbox, spam, and promotions folders for an order confirmation. If you find one, keep the order number.
- If there is no confirmation, contact Wizards Customer Support. Ask them to check the order status. Include the Secret Lair drop name, the email address used at checkout, the approximate purchase time, and any transaction evidence requested by the support form. Wizards gave this guidance to customers who believed they had ordered the Zeta Set but had not received confirmation in its October 1, 2026 sale update.
Do not treat an item in a cart, a queue position, or a payment-screen impression as proof of a completed order. Wizards’ August 24, 2026 sale checklist says products are secured only once checkout is completed.
Check official updates for your drop and region
Look for an email about the order and check Wizards’ Secret Lair Production and Shipping Status page, DailyMTG, and Secret Lair social channels. Wizards named those channels in its March 27, 2026 delay update. That update described delays affecting particular products and regions at that time; it does not establish the status of every order today.
Use a notice that matches your product and shipping region. A published estimate for one drop is not a general Secret Lair delivery date.

If your order is delayed, choose what to do
For the orders covered by its October 24, 2025 manufacturing-delay notice, Wizards offered three options. The notice directs customers to Customer Support for changes or cancellations and says affected orders will ship when ready.

| Modify | Contact Support to ask to swap or remove the affected item. | You want to keep the rest of the order, if a change is available for that order. |
| Cancel | Contact Support to request cancellation and a refund. | You no longer want the item or the delay does not work for you. |
Do not assume every order has identical change or cancellation terms. Check the current notice and ask Support what is available for your specific order and region.

What to know about refunds and cancellation deadlines
Wizards’ manufacturing-delay notice says canceled-order refunds will be processed “promptly, in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws.” It does not set one refund-processing duration for all orders or jurisdictions. Keep the Support response and refund confirmation; if the refund does not appear, follow up with the seller and consult your payment provider’s guidance and the consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.
Some sales can set their own cancellation deadlines. For example, Wizards’ October 1, 2026 Zeta Set update gave customers with that specific preorder until October 9, 2026 to request cancellation through a support ticket, with no explanation required. That deadline applies to the Zeta Set preorder, not Secret Lair orders generally. Check the notice for your sale rather than relying on another drop’s deadline.

Example: Zeta Set shipping estimates were sale-specific
In its October 1, 2026 Zeta Set update, Wizards estimated shipping would start November 5, 2026 for North America and December 8, 2026 for Europe and the United Kingdom. These were estimates for that preorder, not promised arrival dates or general Secret Lair shipping timelines.
