To pair Marshall Major V headphones, turn them on and double-press the Control knob on the right ear cup. When the LED slowly pulses blue, open Bluetooth settings on your iPhone, Android device, or Windows PC and select Major V. If the headphones are off, hold the Control knob for two seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
Pair Major V with an iPhone
- Turn on the headphones and double-press the Control knob on the right ear cup. Wait for the LED to slowly pulse blue.
- On your iPhone, open Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
- Tap Major V in the device list to connect.
If Major V does not appear, check that the headphones are still in pairing mode. Apple advises consulting the accessory maker’s instructions when an accessory is not listed. Marshall’s Major V connection guide and Apple’s Bluetooth pairing instructions provide further guidance.
Pair Major V with an Android device
- Turn on the headphones and double-press the Control knob. Wait for the slow blue pulse.
- On the Android device, turn on Bluetooth. Touch and hold the Bluetooth control, then choose Pair new device. Depending on the Android version or manufacturer, the option may instead appear under Available devices or in a menu.
- Tap Major V and follow any prompts.
Android menus can vary by device and version; Google’s Bluetooth pairing instructions cover the general process.
Pair Major V with a Windows PC
Windows 11
- Turn on the headphones and double-press the Control knob. Wait for the LED to slowly pulse blue.
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices and turn Bluetooth on.
- Open the Bluetooth device-management or add-device flow, then choose Major V from the available devices and follow any prompts. You can also access Bluetooth controls from the taskbar’s Bluetooth quick setting.
Windows 10
- Turn on the headphones and double-press the Control knob. Wait for the slow blue pulse.
- Open Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and turn Bluetooth on.
- Select Add Bluetooth or other device, choose Bluetooth, and then select Major V.
Microsoft’s Windows Bluetooth pairing guide covers both versions. Microsoft says Windows 10 support ended on October 14, 2025; that does not prevent these pairing steps from being used on a Windows 10 PC.

What to know about pairing mode and the Marshall app
If the headphones are already on, double-press the Control knob to enter pairing mode. If they are off, Marshall’s Major V manual says to hold the knob for two seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. In either case, look for the slow blue LED pulse before selecting Major V on the phone or computer.
The Marshall Bluetooth app is optional for basic Bluetooth use. Marshall lists extra app features including personal EQ settings, M-button customization, and software updates. See Marshall’s app support page for details.

How Major V handles multiple paired devices
Marshall says Major V can connect with two devices at a time and remembers up to 10 previously paired devices. When a remembered device is in range, the headphones try to reconnect to the last connected device. This is multipoint connectivity; Marshall’s description does not establish that the headphones can play audio from both connected devices simultaneously.

- Check the LED: The headphones should be on and in pairing mode, indicated by a slow blue pulse. If needed, double-press the Control knob while they are on, or hold it for two seconds when they are off.
- Check Bluetooth on the host: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone or PC, then return to its device list or add-device screen.
- Check the PC’s Bluetooth capability: If a Windows computer has no Bluetooth, Microsoft says a USB Bluetooth adapter can add it.
Pairing steps and menu names vary across Android versions and Windows interfaces. The cited guidance does not establish one universal cause for a missing device, so start with discoverability and Bluetooth availability rather than assuming a particular fault.
