Yes. Nacon lists the Revolution 5 Pro controller as compatible with PS5, PS4, and PC. Set the controller’s platform switch to match the device, then connect by USB-C cable or its included dedicated 2.4 GHz USB receiver. There are important limits: PC games must support XInput, and the controller does not provide vibration in dedicated PS5 games or haptic feedback.
Compatibility at a glance
| Platform | What Nacon says works | Connection and key limitation |
|---|---|---|
| PS5 | Compatible | Connect by USB-C or the included 2.4 GHz receiver. No vibration in dedicated PS5 games and no haptic feedback. |
| PS4 | Compatible; vibration works in PS4 games | Use the PS4 switch setting and the cable or included receiver. |
| PC | Compatible with XInput-compatible PC games | Select PC mode. For Steam, Nacon specifically recommends PC mode. Windows 10/11 compatibility is not tested or approved by Sony Interactive Entertainment. |
These are manufacturer compatibility statements, not results from independent testing. Nacon’s support page says: “The Revolution 5 Pro Controller is compatible with PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.” Nacon support FAQ
Using it on PS5
The controller operates on PS5, but it does not reproduce the DualSense feature set. Nacon says there is no vibration in dedicated PS5 games and that the Revolution 5 Pro has no haptic feedback. Do not expect DualSense-style haptics or full feature parity.
Connect it to the console using the USB-C cable or the supplied 2.4 GHz USB receiver, and set the controller’s platform switch to PS5. Nacon’s 2023 quick-start guide says it validated operability with PS5 CFI-1000 series consoles and recommends using a front USB port for the receiver on that series. That is the scope of the validation statement in the guide; it does not establish independent testing of every PS5 revision. Nacon product page and guide

Using it on PS4
Nacon lists PS4 as compatible and says vibration works in PS4 games. Choose the PS4 position on the platform switch, then connect by cable or the included receiver. Nacon says the controller cannot wake a PlayStation console, so use the console’s power button or another supported method to turn it on.
Using it on PC and Steam
Set the platform switch to PC. Nacon specifies support for XInput-compatible PC games; its support FAQ describes the controller as compatible with “all PC games that are XInput compatible.” This is manufacturer guidance, not a guarantee that every PC title or configuration will work. Connection, receiver, and wake-up limits
- Wireless console connection: Use the Revolution 5 Pro’s included dedicated 2.4 GHz USB receiver. Nacon says another dongle cannot substitute for it.
- Wired connection: Use the USB-C cable.
- Bluetooth: Nacon says the controller does not connect to a PS4 or PS5 console over Bluetooth. Bluetooth pairing directions are for compatible true-wireless earbuds or headsets, not console pairing.
- Lost receiver: Nacon has described a replacement receiver as coming soon, but current availability is not confirmed in its cited support information. Check Nacon’s current parts support rather than assuming a replacement can be purchased.
- Powering on the console: The controller cannot wake a PS4 or PS5.
