Nacon’s FPS profile is designed for quick left-stick movement and more progressive right-stick aiming; its Arcade/Fighting profile uses instant curves on both sticks. Those are starting points, not universal best settings.
Which profile should you start with?

The controller has four preloaded profiles. Nacon also says profiles can be created and shared. Its descriptions explain the intent of the presets, but do not establish ideal settings for every game or player.
FPS settings: tune aim response and dead zone
Begin with the FPS profile
Try Profile 2 first. If right-stick aiming feels too abrupt or too slow, adjust the right-stick curve or the game’s own sensitivity in small increments. Change one variable at a time so you can tell which adjustment affected aiming.
Use FPS Pro’s zero dead zone cautiously
Nacon’s support page describes FPS Pro as deactivating the joystick dead zone. That is an option to test, not a recommendation to use zero dead zone in every shooter. Check that the crosshair remains still when the stick is untouched, then test slow tracking and small aim corrections. If the game registers movement at rest, raise the dead zone or turn FPS Pro off. Racing settings: choose trigger travel for control or speed
Start with Profile 1: Racing/Sports. For a game where throttle and braking need gradual control, longer trigger travel is a reasonable first try. If you prefer quicker, more binary input, try shorter travel with the physical trigger blocker. These are practical starting points based on the adjustable trigger feature; Nacon does not publish a universal trigger-stop position or per-game setting.
Fighting settings: verify directional inputs
Start with Profile 3: Arcade/Fighting, then test the exact moves you rely on. Nacon support material surfaces a report that some directional-pad movements may not be achieved in Advanced Mode during a versus fighting game. If a quarter-circle, charge, or other required input fails consistently, compare the same move in Classic mode or with another profile. Avoid changing several settings at once; otherwise, it is harder to identify what changed the result.

How to customize Revolution 5 Pro profiles
Use Classic mode for quick hardware adjustments
Classic mode supports mapping the four rear shortcut buttons and changing trigger travel with the trigger blocker. Use it when you want a straightforward hardware adjustment rather than app-based tuning.
Use Advanced mode for app-based customization
Nacon says the Revolution 5 Pro app’s Advanced mode offers more than 60 setting variations. Adjust the relevant stick response, dead zone, or other control options in small steps, save the changes as a profile, and switch profiles for different games. Platform considerations
Nacon lists compatibility with PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Its product page says the controller’s two vibration motors work with PC and PS4 games but not dedicated PS5 games. Keep both the platform and the game’s own controller settings in mind when assessing input or vibration behavior. Details are on Nacon’s product page and support page.
