P@SHA membership is presented as a route for qualifying companies—not as a general individual membership. A Pakistani IT or IT-enabled-services company can apply under one of two turnover-based categories; startups, students, and individual professionals can pursue other routes, including the Startup Hub, ICT Awards, and public industry activities.
Who can become a P@SHA member?
P@SHA’s membership page says applicants must be business concerns engaged in software development, IT services, or IT-enabled services, or companies for which IT/ITeS is the primary business. The page defines “primary” as more than 60% of company revenue coming from IT. The company must have a registered place of business in Pakistan. See P@SHA’s membership information for current eligibility terms.
The published route is company membership. The page does not describe a general individual-professional membership, so an individual without a qualifying company should use the separate participation options below rather than assume they can join as an individual.
Which membership category fits your company?
| Category | Annual turnover | Benefits |
|---|---|---|
| Associate member | Below PKR 50 million | P@SHA says benefits are the same as for corporate members. |
| Corporate member | PKR 50 million or above | P@SHA says benefits are the same as for associate members. |
One membership represents one company. P@SHA says a parent company can register sister or child companies separately; the membership page does not describe one application as covering an entire corporate group. These categories and terms are published on P@SHA’s membership page.
How to apply for company membership
- Complete the membership form. Use the form linked from P@SHA’s membership page and check its current document requirements.
- Pay the applicable fee. The page lists a one-time registration fee of PKR 5,000 for either category, plus annual dues of PKR 20,000 for associate members or PKR 50,000 for corporate members. These are the amounts displayed when the page was checked; confirm the current fee and payment instructions with P@SHA before paying.
- Submit proof of filing taxes. P@SHA lists this as part of the application requirements.
P@SHA lists regular processing as 10–14 working days when the application requirements are complete. It also lists urgent processing at two working days for an additional PKR 5,000. These are the page’s stated timelines and charge, not a guarantee of approval or processing under every circumstance; confirm current terms directly.
Plan around the renewal date
P@SHA says membership lasts one year and expires on March 31 regardless of when it was granted. As a result, the first membership period may be shorter than 12 months if membership starts partway through the annual cycle. Ask P@SHA how the applicable dues and renewal timing work before choosing when to apply.

How can a startup get discovered without joining?
Startups can submit a profile to the P@SHA Startup Hub. The platform describes its directory as a way for customers, investors, partners, talent, and ecosystem programs to discover startups. It says submissions are reviewed in fortnightly batches and review typically takes about two weeks. Check the live platform for current profile requirements and status; this is a startup profile route, not company association membership.
Can nonmembers take part in the P@SHA ICT Awards?
Yes. The P@SHA ICT Awards FAQ says the awards are open to all. It distinguishes technology-product submissions from a separate services category and lists student participation among its categories. Award categories, entry rules, and deadlines can change, so consult the current FAQ and application page before preparing an entry. The sources reviewed do not establish current award fees.
How can individuals participate in Pakistan’s IT community?
Attend events and connect with peers
P@SHA describes member events, discussions, peer connections, group chats, a directory, and membership-management features in its member community app listing. The listing marks the app free, but describes it as a member community; it does not establish that nonmembers can access member-only functions. Individuals can check P@SHA’s current public event announcements and ask the Secretariat which activities are open to them.
Ask about committees and working groups
P@SHA communications describe member involvement in committees, peer collaboration, policy discussions, and initiatives in areas including talent, startups, e-commerce, gaming, AI, cloud, and cybersecurity. For current opportunities, a member can contact the Secretariat to ask which committees are active and how to participate. The available information does not establish a current committee roster, open seats, or a selection process.
Look for youth and entrepreneurship announcements
A Government of Pakistan press release documents a memorandum of understanding between the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and P@SHA. That establishes a government-linked engagement channel, but the release does not set out a current individual application process. Check current programme announcements rather than treating the MoU itself as an open enrollment offer.
