Not as an officially supported setup. NVIDIA’s TITAN Xp specifications and user guide do not list Windows XP, and NVIDIA’s Windows XP driver page lists the original GeForce GTX TITAN and GeForce GTX TITAN Black—not the TITAN Xp. That means there is no documented NVIDIA XP driver support for this card. It does not prove every unofficial experiment would fail, but you should not count on a reliable, supported gaming installation.
Why the TITAN Xp name can be confusing
The TITAN Xp and the GeForce GTX TITAN are different products. NVIDIA’s Windows XP driver 368.81, released July 14, 2016, lists the GeForce GTX TITAN and GeForce GTX TITAN Black among its supported products. It does not list the TITAN Xp. Check the exact model name in the driver’s supported-products list rather than assuming that an XP driver for one TITAN card covers another. NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 368.81 — Windows XP.
What NVIDIA documents about Windows support
NVIDIA’s TITAN Xp product specifications list Windows 7–10, Linux, and FreeBSD as certified operating systems; Windows XP is absent. The TITAN Xp product specifications describe a Pascal GPU with 12 GB of GDDR5X memory, DirectX feature level 12_1, and a PCIe 3.0 interface. Those describe the card and NVIDIA’s stated operating-system support; they do not establish that the card can use XP.
NVIDIA’s TITAN Xp User Guide names Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 (32-bit or 64-bit), along with Linux and FreeBSD, in its minimum system requirements. It does not name Windows XP. Taken together with the XP driver’s product list, NVIDIA’s documentation does not provide an official Windows XP driver path for the TITAN Xp.

The DirectX feature level in a graphics-card specification is not a promise that every operating system can use the card. Windows needs a compatible graphics driver for the specific GPU. NVIDIA’s XP driver page is evidence of support only for the products listed there; it does not list the TITAN Xp. A card’s hardware capabilities therefore cannot substitute for an operating-system driver.
For context, NVIDIA’s archived Windows XP/2000 driver 77.77, released August 11, 2005, lists Microsoft DirectX 9.0c and OpenGL 2.0 support. That is historical information about that driver, not evidence that the TITAN Xp works on XP. NVIDIA WinXP/2k Driver 77.77.

Physical requirements for a supported installation
Even on an operating system NVIDIA lists, the TITAN Xp has substantial system requirements. Its user guide calls for a PCI Express or PCI Express 3.0-compliant motherboard with a dual-width x16 graphics slot, plus a power supply of 600 W or greater with one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe supplementary power connector. NVIDIA’s product specifications list 250 W graphics-card power. The 600 W figure is NVIDIA’s minimum system power-supply recommendation, not a measurement that applies identically to every PC configuration.

- For a supported setup: choose a graphics card whose exact model appears in an official Windows XP driver’s supported-products list, and verify that the driver matches your XP edition, including 32-bit or 64-bit.
- Check the game separately: confirm its graphics API and system requirements. A card being listed for XP would not by itself guarantee compatibility with a particular game.
- Treat modified drivers as experiments: an unofficial driver or INF modification is not NVIDIA-supported. Compatibility, stability, and game performance for such a setup are not established here.
- Do not buy a TITAN Xp for XP compatibility: NVIDIA’s published materials do not document that combination as supported.
NVIDIA’s Windows XP driver page is a useful starting point for checking exact supported-product names. This article does not establish the success, stability, performance, or game compatibility of a TITAN Xp installation on Windows XP.
