There is no verified “best” in-game comfort preset for Into the Radius 2 on PS VR2 in the available official information. The PlayStation Store confirms seated and standing play, plus optional vibration and trigger effects, but does not document locomotion, turning, vignette, or comfort-menu settings. Start with seated play and short sessions; if symptoms begin, stop and remove the headset.

Which Into the Radius 2 settings are confirmed?

The PlayStation Store listing identifies seated and standing play as supported. It also lists headset vibration, controller vibration, and trigger effects as optional. The listing does not establish whether the game offers teleport or continuous movement, snap or smooth turning, a vignette, or adjustable movement and turning speeds.

That distinction matters: without verified menu options and defaults for the current PS VR2 build, a specific menu path or numeric recommendation would be guesswork. Do not assume that a comfort option found in another VR game is available here.

  • Confirmed: seated and standing play, and optional headset/controller vibration and trigger effects.
  • Not established by the official listing: locomotion choices, turning choices, vignette strength, movement speed, turn speed, or their defaults.

How to start playing more comfortably

PlayStation recommends beginning with short periods, trying seated play first, ensuring the room is ventilated, and gradually increasing the time you spend in VR. It also recommends setting a timer to remind yourself to take breaks. See PlayStation’s PS VR2 acclimation guidance.

  1. Set up a seated play area. The game supports seated play. PlayStation says a seated PS VR2 play area needs at least 1 m × 1 m, with enough clearance to move the controllers freely; consult its PS VR2 play-area guidance.
  2. Keep the first session short. Start with a brief play period rather than trying to complete a long session. Increase your time gradually only if you remain comfortable.
  3. Plan breaks. The PS VR2 instruction manual gives 15-minute breaks per hour as a general recommendation, while noting that break needs vary by person. Take a longer break if you need one.
  4. Stop if symptoms appear. Sony’s manual warns that some people may experience motion sickness, nausea, disorientation, blurred vision, or other discomfort. It says to stop using the headset immediately and remove it if these occur.

Should you turn off vibration or trigger effects?

You can experiment with the optional headset vibration, controller vibration, and trigger effects listed by the Store, but the official sources do not show that disabling them prevents or reduces motion sickness. Treat this as a personal comfort preference, not a proven remedy. Change one option at a time so you can tell whether it makes a difference for you.

What about the game’s frame rate?

In an August 2026 PlayStation Blog announcement, CM Immersive Game Director Aleksei Shulga described the PS VR2 version as using native 90 FPS performance and eye-tracked foveated rendering. That is the developer’s stated implementation, not an independent performance test or a guarantee against discomfort. The Store listing itself warns that VR games may cause motion sickness for some players.

Why exact comfort settings cannot be recommended yet

The official information cited here does not show Into the Radius 2’s current in-game comfort menu. If you open the game and find movement or comfort choices, use the labels and descriptions shown in that build rather than relying on settings attributed to another title. Common categories in VR games—such as teleport versus continuous movement, snap versus smooth turning, or adjustable blinders—are possibilities to check, not confirmed Into the Radius 2 features.

Official release dates also conflict: the Store listing gives October 8, 2026, while the August 24, 2026 PlayStation Blog post says September 24, 2026. Those pages do not establish which date reflects the current schedule, so neither should be treated here as a reconciled launch date.
