Search for the show while signed in to the streaming service you pay for, then check the offer on its title page. A search result only shows that the service lists the show; it does not prove the show is included in your subscription. Look for a label such as “Included with Prime” and make sure the button does not ask you to rent, buy, or subscribe to an add-on.
Check the show’s offer in the service you subscribe to
- Sign in to the right account. Open the streaming service’s app or website using the account and profile you intend to watch with.
- Search for the exact show. Open its title page, not just a search result. If you want a particular season or episode, check that item too; series availability can be partial.
- Read the offer and playback action. Confirm that the title is included with the specific membership you pay for. If the service asks you to rent or buy it, start an add-on subscription, or pay per view, that is a separate charge.
- Check the country and plan. Offers vary by region and subscription. Confirm the details for your account rather than relying on a listing for another country or a different plan.
Understand what the offer label means
A streaming app may show several ways to watch the same title. Amazon explains that Prime Video includes titles covered by Prime membership alongside titles available to rent or buy, add-on subscriptions, and pay-per-view. Use an availability guide to compare services
A country-specific guide such as JustWatch can help you find which services list a show. Its provider filters include All, My Services, Subscriptions, Buy/Rent, and Free. Choose your country, select only the services you subscribe to, and use Subscriptions rather than Buy/Rent when checking subscription access. JustWatch describes its listings as covering legal video-on-demand offers by country and says available-service data is updated daily, but a listing may still be incomplete or stale. Why a show may not appear in search
If the show is missing, first check the title spelling and selected country. On Netflix, documented causes include regional rights, a title not yet released in your country, VPN use, profile maturity settings, a blocked title, or the profile’s language. - Try the service without a VPN if one is active, and verify that the account’s location is correct.
- Check the profile’s language and parental or maturity settings.
- Look for a release date or notice that the title is leaving or has left the catalog.
- Search the title in a country-specific availability guide, then verify any result with the provider.
Recheck recently changed or unclear offers
Catalogs and add-on lineups change. Amazon says its Included with Prime selection changes over time, and JustWatch describes daily updates to its availability data. If an offer is ambiguous or a guide and the app disagree, rely on the provider’s current title page and the offer shown for your signed-in account. Prime Video: distinguish Prime from add-ons
On Prime Video, “Included with Prime” means the title is covered by the Prime Video membership, subject to catalog availability. A Prime Video page can also present rentals, purchases, pay-per-view, or add-on services; being visible in Prime Video does not make those offers part of Prime. Amazon says add-on subscription availability varies by region. Its instructions for browsing local subscriptions are to sign in on the web, open the Subscriptions tab, and browse the available options. Amazon’s September 17, 2026 article describes access for U.S. customers to “100+ streaming subscriptions” and “900+ FAST Channels.” Those are Amazon’s figures for its U.S. Prime Video offering, not a global count, and they do not mean the included Prime catalog contains every listed service’s shows.
