To use a Hotels.com coupon, choose an eligible stay that offers Pay Now, then enter the code at checkout using Apply a coupon. Stays that can only be paid for at the property are not eligible for coupons, according to Hotels.com’s U.S. coupon instructions.
Apply a Hotels.com coupon code on the website
- Search Hotels.com for your destination and dates, then select a property and room.
- Continue to the reservation checkout. If the property offers payment choices, select Pay Now. Hotels.com says bookings that collect payment only at the property are ineligible for coupons. See Hotels.com’s U.S. coupon page.
- At checkout, select Apply a coupon, enter the code, and apply it.
- Check the updated total before submitting the booking.
Apply a coupon in the Hotels.com app
After selecting your stay, proceed through checkout. The coupon field appears below the payment details and before the personal-information section. Tap Apply a coupon, enter the code, and tap apply, as described on the Hotels.com coupon page.
What to check if a coupon code does not work
- Payment choice: Confirm the booking uses Pay Now; a stay payable only at the property is not eligible under Hotels.com’s U.S. coupon instructions.
- Code and offer terms: Check the spelling and the offer’s stated expiration dates, eligible property, market, and other conditions. A code should not be assumed to apply to every property or date.
- Market: Promotions published for another country, such as India or Singapore, do not establish that the code is valid for a U.S. booking.
Hotels.com’s published U.S. instructions establish the Pay Now restriction, but do not set out a complete list of reasons a code may be rejected. If the code still fails, rely on the offer’s own terms and the eligibility information shown during checkout.
Compare the coupon with other Hotels.com savings
Before booking, compare the final checkout total, including taxes and fees, along with the property and date eligibility, payment requirements, sign-in or app requirements, and any redemption or combination restrictions. Do not assume a coupon can be combined with another discount or reward; check the options and terms displayed for the booking.
