In Fisch, a boat’s listed speed is its top speed—not the speed it reaches as soon as it starts moving. Steering describes how quickly it rotates, while acceleration describes how quickly it reaches that top speed. Treat boat stats and prices as reference values, not guaranteed current data: the community Fisch Wiki flags its boat information as outdated.

What do the boat stats mean?

  • Speed: The boat’s listed maximum speed, expressed in studs per second (S/ps). It is not a constant speed or an immediate starting speed.
  • Steering: How quickly the boat rotates. The wiki expresses this stat in degrees.
  • Acceleration: How quickly the boat reaches its top speed. It is separate from top speed, and the wiki’s notation is inconsistent, so its values should not be treated as precise units or converted into travel-time estimates.

These are in-game movement values as described by the community reference, not measurements validated by developer documentation. The wiki does not establish how steering behaves in every situation or whether its listed values match current gameplay exactly.

How to compare boats

Compare speed, steering, acceleration, seats, price, and level requirement together. The Fisch Wiki’s Shipwright table lists these examples:

Boat Speed (S/ps) Steering Acceleration Seats Price Level requirement
Speedboat 85 50° 0.25 3 C$15,000 20
Jetski 180 70° 0.3 2 C$50,000 60
Luxury Speedboat 150 54° 0.3 3 C$20,000 50

These are table entries from the community wiki, not firsthand tests or a buying ranking. For example, the Jetski has a higher listed top speed than the Luxury Speedboat, while the Luxury Speedboat lists one more seat; both show the same acceleration value. Which trade-off matters depends on your level, budget, and whether you need the extra seat. A higher speed number alone does not establish which boat handles best.

Where to buy and spawn a boat

The wiki says boats can be purchased and spawned through the Shipwright NPC, found on most main islands. It says you need the required level and money to purchase a boat. Since the reference warns that its information is outdated, check the Shipwright’s current in-game listing for availability, costs, and unlock requirements.

How current are these figures?

The Fisch Wiki community page reports an update date of September 25, 2026, and displays an explicit warning that its boat information is outdated. No primary developer documentation validating the listed stats was identified. Use the figures above as a way to understand and compare the stats, then verify the current values in-game before buying.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
