To ride a horse you own in Slayers 2, open your inventory, place the Horse item on an available hotbar slot, then select that slot. If you do not own one, fan guides say you must tame a wild horse, complete the purchase prompt, and pay 15,000 Wen before equipping it.
How to get a horse in Slayers 2
According to a fan guide updated September 20, 2026, finding and taming a horse does not automatically make it yours: you must also confirm the purchase prompt. A second fan guide published September 21, 2026 reports the same minigame and price. These are fan-reported mechanics, so follow the prompts shown in your current game if they differ.
- Look for a wild horse. The September 20 guide lists Bamboo Grove and Windy Peak as common search areas, but exact spawn rules and current availability are not confirmed.
- Approach the horse and press T, as the guide describes.
- Complete the ring-timing minigame to 100%.
- Confirm the purchase prompt. The guide reports a cost of 15,000 Wen; check the live prompt for the current price.
- Open your inventory and make sure the Horse item appears. The guide also refers to it as “Legendary Horse,” so use the item label shown in your current inventory.
How to equip and ride your horse
- Open your inventory.
- Move the Horse or Legendary Horse item to an available hotbar slot.
- Select that hotbar slot to mount. Independent fan guides describe this inventory-to-hotbar-to-select sequence; one also shows the horse icon in the hotbar while riding.
Horse controls and troubleshooting
The available guides do not establish a complete, authoritative set of riding, speed, or dismount controls across platforms. One guide reports that Shift changes pace, but that key is not confirmed as universal. Check the current on-screen controls in your game rather than relying on a particular key.
