GTA 6 release date and listed platforms
Rockstar’s game page and store listing give November 19, 2026 as the release date. The Rockstar Store listing identifies Rockstar Games as the developer and publisher. Xbox’s GTA VI listing also names Xbox Series X|S and gives the same date.

These listings establish the platforms Rockstar currently shows; they do not establish PC requirements or expected performance. Because release and platform information can change, confirm it on the live official listings before making a purchase or hardware decision.
Will my PC run GTA 6?
There is not enough official information to answer that yet. Without published PC system requirements, you cannot reliably compare your processor, graphics card, memory, or storage with a minimum or recommended specification. Wait for Rockstar to publish PC-specific requirements before buying or upgrading hardware for GTA VI. Once a PC release is available, use benchmarks from reputable testers that identify the tested hardware, game version, resolution, and settings rather than relying on unsupported estimates.
Why GTA V settings are not a safe substitute
GTA V’s graphics options cannot establish how GTA VI will behave on PC. Until a GTA VI PC build and its actual options are available, recommendations for resolution, upscaling, ray tracing, shadows, view distance, or graphics presets are not verified GTA VI advice.

What a trustworthy GTA 6 PC settings guide should include
After a PC build is released, useful recommendations should be based on reproducible testing—not a settings menu guessed in advance. Look for comparisons that use the same game version, test scene, hardware, and resolution, and report both image quality and performance.
- Measured frame rates and frame-time consistency, not an unsupported target.
- Image-quality comparisons for each setting being adjusted.
- The hardware, resolution, game version, and test conditions used.
- Clear distinctions between official specifications and independent test results.
Console purchase format is different from PC settings advice
Rockstar Support describes a physical version of GTA VI as a code in the box, with no game disc. That detail concerns the console purchase format; it does not provide a PC version or help determine PC graphics settings.
