The same support page describes digital pre-orders and purchases of either edition before November 20, 2026, as including the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+. It also gives November 12, 2026, as the start of digital preloading at local midnight. These offer and timing details can depend on region, account, storefront, and current terms, so check Rockstar’s live support page and your platform’s store before buying or planning a download.
What trailers and footage has Rockstar released?
The official GTA VI page lists Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 and links to An Extended Look. Rockstar’s Trailer 2 announcement introduces Vice City and the wider state of Leonida, and gives a broad outline of Jason and Lucia’s story.

Rockstar announced An Extended Look for August 27, 2026, and later posted that it was now playing. In its announcement, Rockstar says the footage was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5. That identifies the footage’s capture platform; it is not an announcement of a different game platform.
What has Rockstar confirmed about the story and setting?
Rockstar’s official summary places the game in Leonida, including modern-day Vice City. It follows Jason and Lucia after an easy score goes wrong and draws them into a criminal conspiracy across the state. That is the confirmed high-level premise; details beyond the published summary should not be treated as established.
