Yes for Halloween activities that are Freemode Events. Rockstar says Freemode Events are available in private sessions, but many need a minimum number of players to start. That rule does not confirm that every Halloween mode—such as a Featured Series match or Survival—can be launched in an Invite Only Session.
Which Halloween modes can you play privately?
Rockstar’s Freemode Events FAQ says these events are available in private sessions. Whether a particular event starts depends on its player requirement and how many people are in the session. In other words, private-session availability does not necessarily mean you can play it alone.

Rockstar’s October 1, 2026 announcement features Slasher modes in the Featured Series, including a Ramius submarine variant, and the return of Ludendorff Cemetery Survival. The announcement identifies the Halloween activities running throughout October, but does not say whether each can be launched privately. Check the activity’s launch options in-game rather than assuming the Freemode Event rule applies to Featured Series or Survival.
Featured activities rotate, so consult Rockstar’s Newswire or the in-game event listings for the current week.

Why might a Freemode Event not start?
Some Freemode Events require a minimum number of participants, and the number varies by event. Rockstar lists Hunt the Beast as requiring 10 players in the session. A private session with fewer players therefore may not meet that event’s requirement.
Rockstar also notes that Time Trials are unavailable in private or solo sessions. That is a separate rule; it does not establish the private-session availability of Halloween Featured Series or Survival activities.
