When does Dawn of War IV come out?
Dawn of War IV is currently scheduled to launch on 3 December 2026. Steam and the latest checked Warhammer Community announcement list that date. An earlier launch window was updated; the official Steam announcement archive records the date change. The Commander Edition advertises three-day early access, but check its live listing for current edition details.

Steam’s Dawn of War IV listing identifies KING Art as developer and Deep Silver as publisher.
What platforms will Dawn of War IV be on?
PC is the currently announced platform, with the game listed on Steam. The official materials cited here do not announce a PS5 or Xbox version. That means console availability is unconfirmed, not that a console release has been ruled out.

Which factions are in Dawn of War IV?
Four factions are announced for launch:
- Space Marines
- Orks
- Necrons
- Adeptus Mechanicus
Games Workshop says Adeptus Mechanicus will make its debut in the Dawn of War series. A September 2026 trailer shows Dark Angels alongside Captain Cyrus and the Blood Ravens. They are Space Marine elements, not a fifth launch faction. Warhammer Community’s trailer announcement covers that reveal.
What is the campaign like, and can you play co-op?
Warhammer Community announced a campaign of more than 70 missions, playable solo or with a friend. Deep Silver describes four distinct faction storylines that connect to a larger narrative. The 70-plus figure is an announced mission count, not a measure of campaign length or an independently verified total.

Campaign co-op is separate from competitive multiplayer: it means playing the story with another person. Deep Silver also says the announced multiplayer modes support co-op. The official feature descriptions do not specify all the details of how co-op works in each mode.
What gameplay and modes have been announced?
The following are features described by the developer or publisher, not hands-on findings. Deep Silver says the design combines territorial control, squad management, and base-building, with an expanded combat-animation system called Combat Director.

Deep Silver describes Last Stand as a horde-style survival mode with character progression.

Skirmish
Skirmish lets players select a map, factions, and difficulty, according to Deep Silver.
Competitive multiplayer
The announced launch formats are 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. Steam lists online PvP and online co-op. These are announced features; final balance and real-world performance cannot be assessed before release.

Detailed requirements are not yet available in the checked Steam listing. Its minimum-requirements area says the operating system information is “Coming soon” and does not provide usable processor, memory, or graphics specifications. Without those details, there is not enough official information to say whether a particular PC will run the game.
