When does the ArcheAge Chronicles demo come out?

How do I get the ArcheAge Chronicles demo?
- During the announced event window, open the ArcheAge Chronicles Steam store page.
- Use the demo download option on the page if it is available, then install it through Steam.
The publisher says Steam users can play, but the announcement does not establish every region, account, age, or hardware eligibility restriction. Check the Steam page during the event for the current access details.
Is PvP in the demo, and what can you play?
Yes. XLGAMES says the demo includes PvP in a publicly released build for the first time. Its content is a selected preview centered on Diamond Shores, an early-game region—not a statement that the full game’s systems or world are all represented.

The announced exclusions are housing and trade. Demo progress and save data also will not carry into Early Access. These are publisher-announced details; they do not establish how the demo will perform, how PvP will be balanced, or how much server capacity will be available once it opens.
Can I play the demo on PlayStation, Xbox, or Epic Games Store?
Steam is the only demo platform confirmed in the reviewed announcement. XLGAMES links the full game to Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, and Xbox, but those wishlist destinations do not confirm that a demo will be offered on those other platforms. XLGAMES’ official game site

How is this different from the earlier network test?
The September 2026 network test was a separate, completed event. XLGAMES announced it for Steam users in the United States and Canada, with access by request and random selection; the test used limited early-area content in an early development build. What is ArcheAge Chronicles beyond the demo?
Steam describes ArcheAge Chronicles as an online action RPG and lists online PvP and co-op. Executive Producer Yongjin Ham’s September 24, 2024 overview also describes action combat, raids and cooperative play, exploration, housing, and life skills including farming, crafting, and trading.
