1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsShort answer: The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini (RZ03-0499) connects by USB, but that does not guarantee full compatibility or advanced features on every platform. PS5 supports USB keyboards generally, though this exact model is not certified in the cited guidance and game support varies. Mac basic typing is plausible over USB, but current macOS and Synapse 4 support for this model is not established here. Razer’s “Xbox Controller Mapping” feature name is not proof of Xbox-console compatibility.
Compatibility at a glance
| Platform | USB connection | What is established | What is not established |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mac | Wired USB-C keyboard; supplied cable is USB-A to USB-C. | Basic keyboard input is plausible over a standard wired USB connection. | Razer’s reviewed model support material does not explicitly guarantee current macOS compatibility or full Synapse 4 configuration on Mac. |
| PS5 | PlayStation says to connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard. | General USB keyboard connection guidance exists. | The guidance does not certify the RZ03-0499, and it does not guarantee keyboard input in every game. |
| Xbox | The keyboard is wired USB. | Razer lists “Xbox Controller Mapping (full analog)” as a feature. | The reviewed sources do not provide model-specific Xbox-console compatibility guidance. The feature name alone does not establish console connection or game support. |
Razer’s RZ03-0499 support page identifies a detachable USB-C connection and an included USB-A-to-USB-C cable. The distinctions in the table matter: a cable that fits a device is not the same as platform certification, Synapse support, or in-game input support.
Does it work on PS5?
You can try connecting it as a wired USB keyboard. PlayStation’s PS5 keyboard and mouse help page says to connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard and directs users to the device instructions for compatibility and use. It does not name or certify the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini.
Whether the keyboard works in a particular game is a separate question. General console keyboard connection guidance does not mean every game accepts keyboard input, and the PlayStation page does not provide a game-by-game compatibility list for this Razer model.

- CHOSEN BY PRO’S FOR ADVANCED FPS MOVEMENT — With Rapid Trigger, Adjustable Actuation and Razer Snap Tap, the Huntsman V3 Pro offers lightning-fast, precise movements that provides gamers an unbeatable edge especially in FPS games
- RAZER SNAP TAP — Prioritize the latest input between two selected keys without having to release the previous one, and enjoy more responsive inputs for near-instant directional changes in FPS games (latest firmware update required)
- RAPID TRIGGER — A step up from traditional mechanical or optical keyboards to achieve the most responsive and precise inputs; reset keys at the slightest lift of a finger, and experience an advantage in speed that is especially useful for movement in competitive FPS games
- ANALOG OPTICAL SWITCHES GEN-2 — Max out on precision and response with advanced switches for ultra fast repeated inputs, a 0.1–4.0 mm adjustable actuation range, and a 100 million keystroke lifespan
- QUICK ONBOARD ADJUSTMENTS — Make precise, on-the-fly adjustments to actuation height or Rapid Trigger sensitivity with the visual aid of an onboard LED array while saving the settings to the keyboard with no software required
Try a direct USB connection
- Connect the included USB-A-to-USB-C cable to the keyboard and a compatible USB port on the PS5.
- Check whether the console recognizes keyboard input in the system interface or a game that supports keyboard controls.
- If it is not recognized, consult the console and keyboard instructions and check whether the specific game supports a keyboard. The available guidance does not establish a model-specific PS5 fix.
Can I use it on Mac?
The RZ03-0499 is a wired USB keyboard, so basic typing over a direct USB connection is plausible. However, the Razer model support material reviewed here does not explicitly guarantee compatibility with current macOS versions or full Synapse 4 configuration on Mac. Do not assume that advanced settings will be available just because the keyboard can be physically connected.
- Connect the keyboard directly to the Mac with its USB cable; if the Mac lacks a matching port, check what adapter or port setup your Mac requires rather than assuming one is included.
- Test ordinary typing first.
- If you need Synapse 4 or advanced settings, verify support for your specific macOS and software versions in Razer’s model support information before relying on those controls.
Does it work on Xbox?
Razer lists “Xbox Controller Mapping (full analog)” for the RZ03-0499, but that describes a keyboard feature; it is not, by itself, confirmation that the keyboard connects to Xbox consoles or works in Xbox games. The reviewed official material does not give model-specific Xbox-console compatibility guidance.

What features does Razer list for RZ03-0499?
Razer’s support page lists second-generation analog optical switches, adjustable actuation from 0.1 to 4.0 mm, Rapid Trigger, Synapse 4 support, and Xbox Controller Mapping (full analog). These are manufacturer-listed features, not proof that every feature can be configured or used on Mac, PS5, or Xbox consoles. Razer’s connection instruction specifies connecting the keyboard to a PC with the supplied USB cable.
