Choose the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini if you want Gen-2 analog optical switches, onboard adjustment controls, and arrow keys that work through tap-and-hold modifier behavior. Choose the Wooting 60HE+ if magnetic sensing, programmable layers, remapping, and hardware customization matter more. Both are compact 60% keyboards with adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger; available evidence does not establish that either will make you play better.

How the switches and Rapid Trigger differ
Razer: analog optical sensing
The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini uses Razer Gen-2 analog optical switches. Razer specifies adjustable actuation from 0.1 to 4.0 mm and supports Rapid Trigger, which changes when a key resets as it moves upward rather than relying only on a fixed reset point. Razer also documents onboard adjustment for actuation and Rapid Trigger settings. These specifications describe the product’s features, not a measured advantage in a particular game.
Wooting: magnetic sensing
The 60HE+ uses magnetic, Hall-effect sensing, and offers adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger. Wooting says its settings are stored in onboard memory. Its product page does not state the same numerical actuation range in the cited information, so the Razer’s 0.1–4.0 mm figure should not be treated as a directly comparable specification.
Which keyboard is faster in practice?
RTINGS’ comparison, updated in June 2026, reports a slight latency advantage for Wooting over the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini and says the difference is unlikely to be noticeable in-game. Its Wooting test model was the 60HE v2, not the 60HE+ named here. Use that result as broad comparison context, not as a direct 60HE+ measurement or a guarantee about individual perception, reaction time, or game outcomes. See RTINGS’ comparison.

What a 60% layout means day to day
Both are compact 60% keyboards, so they omit dedicated keys found on larger layouts. If you regularly use arrow keys, navigation keys, or function-row keys, check how each keyboard makes those inputs available and whether the required layer or shortcut feels comfortable.
Razer’s arrow-key behavior
Razer documents dual-purpose modifier keys: tap one for an arrow input, or hold it to use its modifier function. This may suit someone who wants arrow access without switching to a separate programmable layer, though it requires adapting to tap-versus-hold behavior.

Wooting’s layers and remapping
Wooting supports programmable layers and remapping, giving you a way to assign secondary functions to keys. That flexibility is useful if you want to tailor the compact layout, but you should confirm that your chosen layer setup works for the applications and games you use.

Wooting describes the 60HE+ as modular, with a separate module and options for compatible cases and keycaps. It is the stronger documented choice if changing the board’s hardware is part of the appeal. Check compatibility for the exact case, keycap set, layout, and 60HE+ configuration before buying; options are not necessarily interchangeable across every variant.
