Among the providers compared here, SnapshotAPI is the one that publishes monthly screenshot plans directly in rupees: ₹499 for 1,000 screenshots or ₹999 for 5,000, with separate per-screenshot charges above those allowances. Other services publish USD prices, which are not exact India checkout totals. The figures below are vendor-listed prices checked on October 3, 2026; confirm current plan terms, taxes, currency conversion and payment charges before buying.

Screenshot API plans and prices at a glance

ScreenshotNeo is listed first because it offers 1,000 screenshots a month free, bills only clean shots, and has a $5 paid plan for 3,000 shots. SnapshotAPI is the clearest option in this comparison for a published INR monthly price.

Provider Published monthly plans or allowance Additional or included-unit cost Currency and billing notes
ScreenshotNeo Free: 1,000/month; Starter: $5 for 3,000; Growth: $15 for 15,000; Pro: $39 for 60,000; Scale: $99 for 250,000; Business: $249 for 1,000,000 Paid tiers work out to about $1.67 to $0.25 per 1,000 included shots, depending on tier; plans are volume tiers, not an extra-shot overage schedule. USD list prices. The free tier requires no card. Check the current India checkout total.
SnapshotAPI Free: 10/month; Starter: ₹499/month for 1,000; Professional: ₹999/month for 5,000 Starter: ₹0.60 per additional screenshot; Professional: ₹0.25 per additional screenshot INR is listed on the provider page; confirm checkout and plan details.
ScreenshotOne Free: 100/month; Basic: $17 for 2,000; Growth: $79 for 10,000; Scale: $259 for 50,000 Extra usage: $0.009, $0.006 and $0.004 per screenshot on Basic, Growth and Scale, respectively. USD; listed prices exclude VAT. Only successful renders not served from cache count toward quota, according to its pricing page.
Urlbox Lo-Fi: $19 for 2,000; Hi-Fi: $49 for 5,000; Ultra: $99 for 15,000 Included-volume equivalents are $9.50, $9.80 and $6.60 per 1,000, respectively. USD; listed prices exclude VAT. Cached Render Link screenshots are not counted against the monthly quota, according to its pricing page.
ScreenshotAPI Metered pay-as-you-go listed at $0.001 per shot; prepaid bundles include 2,000 for $2 and 5,000 for $5, with larger bundles also listed. Base metered rate is $0.001 per shot; bundle rates can be lower for larger listed packs. USD. The page gives conflicting initial free allowances: 100 in its headline and 1,000 in signup text. Verify before budgeting.

These are provider-published terms, not independently audited invoices. Included-volume arithmetic is not a full like-for-like comparison: providers differ in what counts as a billable render, caching, request limits, and plan features.

Which plan makes sense for an India-based workload?

If you need a quoted rupee plan

SnapshotAPI provides the directly stated INR figures in this comparison: ₹499 per month for 1,000 screenshots, then ₹0.60 for each additional screenshot; or ₹999 per month for 5,000, then ₹0.25 per extra screenshot. Its free allowance is 10 per month. Check its checkout and plan details to confirm the amount and terms that apply to your account.

If you want to start without paying

ScreenshotNeo lists 1,000 screenshots a month free with no card. ScreenshotOne lists 100 free per month, SnapshotAPI 10, and ScreenshotAPI advertises either 100 or 1,000 depending on which part of its pricing page you read. Verify that last allowance with the provider rather than assuming the larger number.

If you expect usage beyond the included volume

Compare marginal charges as well as the subscription. SnapshotAPI explicitly publishes extra-shot prices for its two paid plans, and ScreenshotOne publishes extra-use rates for its paid tiers. ScreenshotNeo’s published plans are volume tiers rather than an extra-shot overage schedule. Urlbox’s figures above are included-volume equivalents, not an advertised per-extra-render rate.

How to estimate your monthly screenshot API cost

  1. Estimate successful fresh renders. Start with the number of screenshots you expect to receive, not simply the number of requests your application sends. Providers may treat failed renders and cached results differently.
  2. Apply the included allowance. Identify the plan’s monthly quota and the provider’s definition of a countable screenshot. ScreenshotOne says successful renders that are not served from cache count toward its quota; Urlbox says cached Render Link screenshots do not count against monthly quota.
  3. Calculate usage above the allowance. For SnapshotAPI, multiply the excess over 1,000 by ₹0.60 on Starter, or the excess over 5,000 by ₹0.25 on Professional. For ScreenshotOne, apply the tier-specific published extra-use rate to chargeable screenshots beyond the included amount. Confirm how the provider applies overages and rounding.
  4. Check capacity limits. ScreenshotOne lists request-start limits of 40 per minute on Basic, 80 on Growth and 150 on Scale. Urlbox also publishes per-minute limits by tier; check its current pricing page for the tier you are considering. A plan that fits monthly volume may still be unsuitable if your workload arrives in bursts.
  5. Confirm the landed India price. SnapshotAPI lists INR. The other prices in this comparison are USD, and ScreenshotOne and Urlbox say their prices exclude VAT. The pricing pages do not establish the final India total after taxes, currency conversion or payment charges, so confirm the amount at checkout.

What the per-image price does—and does not—tell you

Dividing a monthly price by its included volume gives a useful rough comparison, but it is not necessarily the price of every image your application requests. A service may bill only successful fresh renders, treat cache hits differently, or charge for usage beyond quota at a separate rate. A cached screenshot can also mean a later cache miss triggers another render, as ScreenshotOne notes. Compare the provider’s counting rules with your expected mix of fresh requests, repeats and failures.

Request throughput matters alongside cost. ScreenshotOne’s published per-minute request-start limits show why a nominally adequate monthly allowance may not be enough for a high-volume batch. For Urlbox, consult the current tier limits before relying on it for a bursty workload; the figures summarized here do not establish a single comparable concurrency limit across all five providers.

Finally, keep list price distinct from the amount charged in India. Do not convert USD prices to rupees and treat the result as a checkout quote: the exchange rate, taxes and card or payment costs are not established by these published plan figures.

Or skip the browser setup

With ScreenshotNeo, one GET request can return a screenshot or PDF. Its capture flow accepts cookie and consent banners like a visitor and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets; each step can be turned off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed, and response headers report the page verdict and billing status. An MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the prices in this comparison final India checkout prices?

No. The figures are published list prices. SnapshotAPI lists INR; USD prices and checkout taxes, conversion and payment charges need to be confirmed with each provider.

Does ScreenshotAPI definitely include 1,000 free screenshots?

Its pricing page conflicts: the headline says 100 free shots, while signup text says 1,000. Confirm the allowance directly before using it in a budget.
