What is RetroGameCon?
RetroGameCon is a video game expo held at The Oncenter Convention Center, 800 South State Street, Syracuse, New York. The Oncenter says the event was established in 2013. The organizer describes it as drawing thousands from the Northeast U.S., Canada and beyond; that is a qualitative description, not a precise attendance count.
Event listings describe a broad program that can include exhibitor tables, special guests, panels, video game music, tournaments, tabletop gaming, art, free-play consoles and charity events. The downtown calendar also lists cosplay, trivia, high-score contests, scavenger hunts, a charity auction and vintage-computer exhibits.
