To monitor a particular page—or a specific section of one—and review visual evidence of changes, create a Visualping monitor for its URL, choose the area and check schedule, and inspect the before-and-after screenshots when an alert arrives. Treat alerts as a prompt to verify important changes on the exchange’s live official page, not as a complete or instant record of every update.
Choose between an NSE RSS feed and a Visualping screenshot monitor
NSE publishes official RSS feeds for categories including announcements and circulars, which you can follow in an RSS reader. Its circular listing also offers a “Subscribe to RSS Feed” option. If the category you want is covered, the feed is a direct way to follow that stream. NSE notes that delays can depend on service providers and that some readers may need a manual refresh. See NSE’s RSS feeds and the NSE circular listing.
Visualping is useful when your goal is to watch a chosen webpage or part of it and review what changed visually or in text. It checks on the schedule you configure; it does not promise to detect a change at the moment it is published. A monitor for one page is also not a comprehensive feed of every announcement for every stock on NSE or BSE.
| What you need | Better starting point | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| A category stream NSE already publishes, such as announcements or circulars | NSE RSS in an RSS reader | Feed entries and links; refresh timing can depend on the reader and service providers. |
| Changes on a chosen page or a selected page area, with a visual comparison | Visualping | Scheduled checks and before-and-after screenshot and text comparisons. |
Set up a Visualping monitor for an NSE page
- Choose the official page. Open the NSE listing or announcements page relevant to your task. Prefer the exact listing you need over a broad home page so the monitor is focused on useful changes.
- Check RSS first. If NSE’s feed covers the category, subscribe in your preferred RSS reader. Use Visualping alongside it when you also need a visual record of a specific page or area.
- Add the page in Visualping. Create a monitor using the page’s URL. Choose to watch the whole page or select the area that contains the information you care about. Visualping supports monitoring a whole page or selected area and detecting visual, text, and code changes. Visit Visualping.
- Set the change criteria and schedule. Describe the change that matters to you, then choose how often the monitor should check. The schedule governs when checks happen, so an alert may arrive after a change has appeared on the site.
- Choose a notification channel. Email is available to all Visualping users. Other notification channels depend on the plan. Visualping’s help page lists RSS as a Business-plan channel; its instructions say Business users can copy the monitor’s generated feed URL from notifications and add it to an RSS reader. Check the current notification-channel details and RSS setup steps for availability.
- Review the alert, then verify the live page. Open the linked page and compare the screenshots and text. In Visualping’s comparison view, green marks additions and red marks deletions. For consequential updates, confirm the information on the exchange’s current official page.
What the screenshot comparison can and cannot tell you
An alert helps identify differences in the configured page or area. The screenshot comparison shows where content was added or removed, while the text difference can make wording changes easier to inspect. This is useful for reviewing a particular listing, but the monitor only checks the URL and area you configured, at its scheduled intervals.

NSE says website content and descriptions may change without prior notice and that outdated content may be archived. Combined with scheduled checks and possible RSS-reader delays, this means neither an RSS entry nor a screenshot alert should be treated as a guarantee that every exchange update was captured. Use the alert to find a change, then check the live official page when the change matters. This workflow is for monitoring information, not investment advice.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need a screenshot returned directly to a script instead of a scheduled Visualping alert, ScreenshotNeo is a screenshot API and MCP server for developers. One GET request can return a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF; it is a different workflow from scheduled page monitoring, so it does not replace an RSS feed or Visualping’s recurring checks.

ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie and consent banners as a visitor and removes 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks and CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, with the response identifying the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The Free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. See ScreenshotNeo for product details.
For a one-off capture of an NSE page, replace the example URL with the exact official page you want to capture. The response is saved as a WebP image:

Troubleshooting
- You need all NSE announcements, not one page’s visual changes. Check NSE’s official RSS categories first. A Visualping monitor follows only the URL or area you configured; it is not a consolidated all-stock exchange feed.
- You did not receive a Visualping alert. Check that the monitor is active, that its schedule has run, and that the selected area and criteria include the change you expected. Also confirm that the notification channel is available on your plan; email is available to all users, while other channels can be plan-dependent.
- Your RSS reader appears out of date. Refresh the feed manually if needed. NSE notes that delays can arise from service providers and that a manual refresh may be required depending on the reader.
- The alert and current NSE page differ. Open the current official page and verify the change there. NSE may change content without prior notice and may archive outdated material.
- A ScreenshotNeo capture is not a recurring alert. The example makes a single API request. For ongoing tracking, use a scheduled monitor such as Visualping or an applicable NSE RSS feed.
