Yes. ChangeTower says you can monitor a page behind a login by setting up Manual User Actions to enter credentials and click the sign-in control before each check. That is a vendor-documented capability, not a guarantee that every login flow will work: ChangeTower says sites that block automated traffic outright cannot be monitored.
How ChangeTower handles password-protected pages
ChangeTower’s current help article, published December 26, 2025, describes using Manual User Actions to simulate interactions such as focusing a field, entering text, and clicking a button. Its feature page says those actions run before each check, after which ChangeTower captures the authenticated page. The vendor cites customer portals, member-only pricing, internal dashboards, and gated documents as possible uses; these are examples, not a compatibility guarantee.
ChangeTower’s FAQ distinguishes a page that simply requires sign-in, which it says can be handled, from a site that blocks automated traffic, which it says cannot. The reviewed guidance does not establish support for every SSO provider, multi-factor authentication (MFA), CAPTCHA, or other identity-verification challenge.
Set up a monitor for a page behind a login
- In ChangeTower, start a new monitor and select single-page monitoring.
- Enter the URL of the page you want to monitor.
- Under Advanced Configuration, enable Manual User Actions.
- Add the interactions needed to reach the login form: for example, focus a username field and enter text, then repeat for any other required fields.
- Add an action to click the sign-in button.
- Adjust any optional monitoring settings and monitor details, then create the monitor.
Set the actions in the order a user would perform them. The aim is to reach the authenticated page before ChangeTower checks it. If a site’s flow requires steps beyond the documented field-entry and click actions, the available sources do not establish that the flow will work.

When this approach may not work
- Automated traffic is blocked: ChangeTower says it cannot monitor sites that block automated access outright.
- The login requires additional verification: the reviewed documentation does not confirm that specific SSO, MFA, CAPTCHA, or identity-provider flows are supported. Do not assume they will work without checking the flow with ChangeTower.
- The site changes its login sequence: because the monitor replays configured actions before each check, a changed form or button may prevent it from reaching the page. Review and update the actions if the login flow changes.

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server, not a ChangeTower replacement for monitoring authenticated app changes. For pages you can access without a login, a single request returns a screenshot; it does not perform the documented ChangeTower login-action workflow.
ScreenshotNeo removes cookie banners, popups, and chat widgets before a shot. Bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. Its MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots, and the free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
Example cURL request (replace the target URL as needed; see the ScreenshotNeo documentation):
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan: 1,000 screenshots a month, no card required.
