First check what ended: the video playing in IRL Pro, IRL Pro’s outgoing encoder feed, or the YouTube broadcast. If YouTube still shows the broadcast as live, the encoder must keep sending content; if YouTube has ended it, start a new broadcast in YouTube Live Control Room. The available IRL Pro documentation does not confirm a setting that automatically loops a local video or keeps the feed alive after that video ends.
Identify what ended
These are different situations, and the fix depends on which one you have:
- The local video or media source ended: YouTube may still be live if IRL Pro continues sending valid content. Whether IRL Pro can loop that source or switch to a standby source is not established by the available documentation.
- IRL Pro stopped sending content: YouTube may show no signal or eventually end the broadcast. Check the app’s connection and the active stream URL.
- YouTube says the broadcast ended: Treat it as an ended broadcast, not merely a finished video. Start a new broadcast in Live Control Room; do not assume reconnecting IRL Pro will resume the old one.
Keep the YouTube broadcast live
YouTube’s encoder workflow depends on the encoder continuing to send content. YouTube’s documented way to end an encoder stream is to stop sending content; for a scheduled stream, YouTube also instructs creators to click End Stream and stop the encoder. If you intend to stay live, do not choose End Stream and make sure IRL Pro is still sending a valid feed. YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
If you mean a video file inside IRL Pro has reached its end, check the current app documentation or ask IRL Pro support whether your version supports looping that file or switching to a standby source. The available sources do not establish those app-specific controls, so there is no reliable menu path to give.

Troubleshoot IRL Pro showing no signal
- Check the broadcast state in YouTube Studio. Confirm whether the broadcast is still live or has ended before changing settings in IRL Pro.
- Check whether IRL Pro is sending. If the broadcast remains live, restore a valid outgoing feed rather than ending the broadcast in YouTube.
- Verify the current server or publish URL. The third-party Enhanced IRL guide to broadcasting with IRL Pro says repeated reconnecting alongside “No signal” can occur when the URL is invalid, including after changing the key’s Region or Protocol or rotating the key.
- Replace a potentially stale URL. Following that guide, copy the current publish URL and replace the entire URL saved in the app. Avoid relying on an older copied value after changing or rotating a key.
- If the broadcast ended, start another one. Open YouTube Live Control Room and create or start a new broadcast. The YouTube help page does not say that restarting IRL Pro alone reattaches to an ended broadcast.
- For a finished local video, confirm the app’s supported workflow. Ask IRL Pro support whether looping or a standby source is available for your device and app version.
The IRL Pro setup guide cited above is third-party documentation and describes setup on Android. Check current official app information to verify device support; do not treat that guide as confirmation of current compatibility or of a media-loop feature.
What YouTube archiving does—and does not—mean
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That describes what happens to the recording; it does not mean an ended broadcast can be resumed by restarting an encoder. See YouTube’s encoder streaming guidance.
